5 years agoKansas City Royals shortstop Adalberto Mondesi (shoulder) still isn't ready to play in spring training games, but he said that he's hoping to make his Cactus League debut next week. Mondesi is recovering from shoulder surgery but is expected to be ready for Opening Day as long as he doesn't have any setbacks. The 24-year-old has a current average ADP of 55.4 and is very attractive at his position for his speed; he hit 10 triples and stole a career-high 43 bases in only 102 games for KC in 2019. The power leaves a little to be desired, though, and he won't hit for a very high average unless he improves his plate discipline.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
