Aaron Rodgers Doing Everything But Sprinting
10 months agoNew York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) said on the Joe Rogan podcast that his rehab from a torn Achilles continues to go well five months removed from surgery. "It feels good. I can do everything except sprint at a top speed," Rodgers said. The Jets designated Rodgers to return from Injured Reserve late in the regular season, but he wasn't able to complete a miraculous return after tearing his Achilles in Week 1 because of the fact that the Jets were eliminated from postseason contention. The 40-year-old future Hall of Famer did return to practices to close out the regular season, though, and provided the team of glimpses of how their season could have turned out in 2023 had he stayed healthy. Barring a setback this offseason, Rodgers should be ready to go for training camp and the start of the 2024 campaign.
