Aaron Judge Could Play In Both Games Tuesday
2 years agoNew York Yankees skipper Aaron Boone said that outfielder Aaron Judge will "probably" play in Game 2 of the team's doubleheader against the Texas Rangers on Tuesday if he doesn't hit a home run in Game 1. Judge tied Roger Maris' American League home run record of 61 that was set back in 1961, but he's still looking to break the record with three games remaining in the regular season. The 30-year-old slugger is serving as the designated hitter and batting leadoff in Game 1 against Rangers right-hander Jon Gray. Since hitting homer No. 61 on Sept. 28, Judge has gone 2-for-11 with no RBI, a run scored and seven strikeouts in four games.
