Aaron Rodgers Doesn't Plan On Having Surgery At This Time
3 years agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (toe) doesn't plan to have surgery on his broken left pinkie toe at this time. The hope is that Rodgers' heal will heal and improve after the team's Week 13 bye. The 37-year-old should be fine for the Week 14 game against the Chicago Bears, but he was noticeably limping at times during the Week 12 win over the Los Angeles Rams. But based on his numbers alone in the last two games -- 51-for-78, 692 yards, six touchdowns, no interceptions and a rushing TD -- Rodgers has been just fine. The future Hall of Famer will likely be limited in practices this rest of the way, but unless the injury worsens once he returns, fantasy managers should continue to feel comfortable using him as a midrange QB1.
