A.J. Dillon Ahead Of Jamaal Williams As Aaron Jones' Backup
Aaron Jones undoubtedly will be the team's lead back again in 2020, but the draft capital used on rookie A.J. Dillon (second-round pick) suggests that he'll see more work as the No. 2 over Jamaal Williams. Williams saw 373 offensive snaps in 2019 as Jones' primary backup. The Packers are shifting to a more run-heavy approach, which is why they took Dillon in the second round and not a single wide receiver in last month's draft. Dillon is a threat to Jones reaching his fantasy ceiling of a year ago, but it shouldn't make him any less of an RB1 consideration in fantasy drafts this fall. Dillon is a prime handcuff for Jones owners and would be highly attractive if Jones were to go down with an injury.
