NFL Week 6 Fantasy Football Weather Report

Joshua Karty - Fantasy Football Kicker Streamers, Waiver Wire Pickups, Starts

Kipp's Week 6 NFL weather report for fantasy football (2025). He looks at which NFL games will be affected by weather to make key fantasy start/sit decisions.

Hello everyone, and welcome back to our Week 6 fantasy football weather report for the 2025 NFL season! The first few weeks of games brought us a ton of excitement and very limited weather issues. As a reminder, I will be here each and every week through the Super Bowl to discuss the weather forecasts for every NFL game, where appropriate. This is an article that is near and dear to my heart, as I am always looking for a weather edge where I can find one.

We will rely on the most accurate and up-to-date weather forecasts for each stadium from AccuWeather, a source that provides comprehensive weather maps. Factors such as temperature, precipitation, wind speed/direction, and visibility can play a crucial role in shaping game outcomes and statistics.

Our goal with this article is to assist you in making informed decisions for your fantasy teams and other betting activities, allowing you to capitalize on opportunities or navigate challenges posed by weather dynamics. Additionally, I hope to be able to update the article at least once each weekend before games kick off, as this article does publish on Thursdays. Here is your comprehensive fantasy football weather report for Week 6 of the 2025 season.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Dome Games (No Weather Impact)

Some games in Week 6 will benefit from being played in domed stadiums, where the weather won't affect the outcome. These indoor venues provide a consistent environment.

  • Arizona Cardinals @ Indianapolis Colts
  • Tennessee Titans @ Las Vegas Raiders
  • New England Patriots @ New Orleans Saints
  • Buffalo Bills @ Atlanta Falcons

Minimal Weather Impact

These outdoor games in Week 6 don't appear to have very many weather concerns.

Philadelphia Eagles @ New York Giants (Thursday Night Slate)

Week 6 kicks off at MetLife Stadium on Thursday Night Football when the Eagles travel to the Giants in what should be a fun NFC East divisional matchup. While the weather can often get tricky at MetLife Stadium later in the season, the weather should be pretty solid for this tilt.

Overall, AccuWeather tells us that temperatures should be in the upper 40s under mostly clear skies. Sustained winds should be rather mild, coming in at 6 mph, with gusts expected to be close to 15 mph. Quite frankly, this is exactly what you would want as far as football weather is concerned, and it should make for a great atmosphere.

Denver Broncos @ New York Jets (Sunday Morning Slate)

For a second consecutive week, we will have a Sunday morning game played in London at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Unlike last week, which saw possible weather impacts, we should have pretty solid weather for this intraconference matchup.

AccuWeather tells us that temperatures should be in the mid-60s under mostly cloudy skies. Winds will be mild, with sustained winds coming in at 6 mph and gusts coming in around 10 mph. The weather should be of little concern in this matchup, and fantasy managers should start their players as usual.

Dallas Cowboys @ Carolina Panthers (Sunday Early Slate)

The Dallas Cowboys will travel to Charlotte to take on the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium in another intraconference matchup on Sunday afternoon. The weather in Charlotte this time of year is typically beautiful, and that will be the case for this matchup.

Overall, temperatures are expected to be in the low 70s under sunny skies. Sustained winds will be 9 mph, with gusts coming in at 24 mph. While the 24 mph gusts might affect the kicking game if one hits just right during a kick, I certainly would not recommend sitting one of the best kickers in the game, Brandon Aubrey, due to them.

Cleveland Browns @ Pittsburgh Steelers (Sunday Early Slate)

The Cleveland Browns will travel to Pittsburgh to take on their AFC North rival, the Pittsburgh Steelers, at Acrisure Stadium. We have seen some big-time weather games between these two teams in the past, but that will not be the case for this game.

AccuWeater states that temperatures will be in the mid-60s with plenty of sunshine, which sounds absolutely beautiful. Additionally, sustained winds will be around 6 mph, with gusts coming in at 15 mph. Overall, the weather for this game appears to be about as perfect as one could expect, so feel free to start your studs as usual.

Seattle Seahawks @ Jacksonville Jaguars (Sunday Early Slate)

We have a tremendous matchup on Sunday at EverBank Stadium between the Seahawks and Jaguars. Normally, we have games played at EverBank Stadium listed in the moderate section below, but the weather should be very pleasant on Sunday afternoon for this matchup.

Overall, temperatures are expected to be in the upper 70s, under mostly sunny and pleasant skies. Sustained winds are expected to be around 6 mph, with gusts coming in around 16 mph. Aside from being a tad warm, the weather will be superb, so feel free to start your players as you normally would.

San Francisco 49ers @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Sunday Late Slate)

Both the 49ers and Bucs are coming off big Week 5 wins and will clash at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay on Sunday afternoon. The weather for this game should be pretty solid, which is sometimes worth noting down there in Tampa Bay.

Overall, temperatures are expected to be in the mid-80s, under mostly sunny skies. Sustained winds are anticipated to be around 7 mph, with gusts pushing just north of 20 mph. While the winds are worth looking at a bit closer leading up to kick, I would not expect any significant impacts from them in this one.

Chicago Bears @ Washington Commanders (Monday Night Slate)

We have a fun Monday night matchup when the Bears travel to the Commanders. Overall, temperatures should be in the mid-50s, under clear skies, which sounds perfect. Additionally, sustained winds should be close to 10 mph, with gusts pushing just north of 20 mph. Start your studs as usual in this matchup.

Moderate Weather Impact

Let's take a look at some games where the weather is not quite severe, but could still have a moderate impact on the game and help give us some information on what types of skill players might be worth being more cautious with.

Los Angeles Rams @ Baltimore Ravens (Sunday Early Slate)

The Los Angeles Rams will travel east to take on the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday afternoon, and we could see some possible weather concerns in this one, although it may not be that bad.

Overall, temperatures are expected to be in the mid-60s, under mostly cloudy skies. With those cloudy skies could come some precipitation, which is why I have it listed in the moderate section. The precipitation is not expected to be more than .01 of an inch, but it is still worth noting here.

Additionally, sustained winds are expected to be around 15 mph, with gusts hovering around 30 mph. These winds, especially the gusts, are rather significant and can affect the kicking and deep passing games. We will need to circle back on this one closer to kickoff to determine further impacts.

Los Angeles Chargers @ Miami Dolphins (Sunday Early Slate)

The Los Angeles Chargers are also traveling east this Sunday to take on the Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium in what figures to be a fun intraconference matchup. As usual, we have a couple of weather concerns in the state of Florida for this one.

While temperatures are expected to be in the mid-80s, we could see a bit of rain, which is normal this time of year in Miami Gardens. Currently, there is an 85% chance of precipitation, with around .14 inches of rain expected. Additionally, it should be noted that the winds will not be as severe as in Baltimore, as sustained winds are expected to be around 4 mph, with gusts closer to 14 mph.

While I do not think the aforementioned rain will be much of a concern, it is still worth noting, and something to monitor leading up to kick.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Green Bay Packers (Sunday Late Slate)

We have an interconference matchup between two teams headed in opposite directions when the Bengals travel to Lambeau Field to take on the Packers. Thankfully, the weather for this one appears to be pretty solid, aside from some potential wind concerns.

AccuWeather notes that temperatures will be in the mid-60s under "sunny and beautiful" skies. There is, however, some wind to contend with, as sustained winds are expected to be closer to 9 mph, with gusts pushing north of 25 mph. These winds are a tad concerning for the kicking game and should be monitored leading up to kickoff.

Detroit Lions @ Kansas City Chiefs (Sunday Night Slate)

We have a huge matchup between the Lions and Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday night. While the matchup should be awesome, we might have some weather concerns to contend with.

Temperatures are expected to be in the mid-60s, under cloudy skies. Additionally, we could see some rain in this game, amounting to .12 inches. Winds are also expected to be somewhat of a concern, as gusts are expected to be around 27 mph. This game will definitely need to be looked at ahead of kickoff, as we could be resting some kickers here.

Severe Weather Impact

There are currently no games scheduled in Week 6 featuring severe weather concerns.
