NFL DFS Week 12 Picks: Top DraftKings Plays for Daily Fantasy Include Josh Allen, Tank Dell, Rachaad White, Rashid Shaheed, Evan Engram

Tank Dell - Fantasy Football Rankings, Waiver Wire Pickups, Draft Sleepers

Joe Nicely's DraftKings NFL DFS picks and lineup sleepers for the Week 12 (November 2023) Main Slate. His top daily fantasy football lineups to target for DraftKings NFL DFS contests.

Hello, RotoBallers, and welcome back to Break The Slate. I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and did well on that always-fun DFS slate! With six games taking place off the DraftKings main slate this week, we are relatively limited in some areas. However, it makes for a unique and fun slate.

This week's DraftKings lineup recommendations are based on matchups, projected DK points and ownership, overall upside/talent levels, and opportunity, as well as factors such as Vegas odds, home-field advantage, and more. There are quite a few great plays available on DK for Week 12.

Also, be sure to check out our weekly FanDuel DFS lineup picks and lots of other great NFL DFS articles and NFL DFS tools to help you win big! Good luck with your DraftKings DFS lineups -- let's dominate this slate together!

DraftKings Quarterbacks - Week 12 DFS Picks

Josh Allen - BUF @ PHI ($8,100)

For all his highly-publicized "struggles", Josh Allen still leads all NFL QBs in DraftKings points scored. He comes into this Week 12 clash with the Philadelphia Eagles averaging 24.6 DK points per game with three outings of 30 or more points.

With Bills offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey fired after a disappointing home loss to the Denver Broncos two weeks ago, Allen threw for 275 yards and three TDs in Joe Brady's first game calling plays against the Jets in Week 11. Allen will try to keep that positive momentum going into what is potentially the Main Slate's most explosive game environment.

Despite their sterling 9-1 record, the Eagles have had lots of struggles in the secondary. Philly is one of just three NFL teams to have allowed more than 20 passing TDs this season while allowing the league's eighth-most passing yards and an average of 21.5 DK points per game to opposing QBs.

Trevor Lawrence - JAX @ HOU ($6,400)

After a breakout 2022 campaign, Lawrence's fantasy output has been disappointing this season. We did see a throwback performance out of the Jags franchise QB last week, as he destroyed the Titans for 262 passing yards and four total TDs while posting 32.2 DraftKings points in Week 11.

A divisional matchup against the Houston Texans awaits in Week 12. While the feisty Texans and rookie QB C.J. Stroud are one of 2023's best stories, DeMeco Ryans' defense has looked vulnerable across the past month. Over their last four games, Houston has allowed just over 1,000 yards passing, as well as six TDs through the air.

MORE TOP QB PLAYS: Jalen Hurts ($8,300); Kyler Murray ($6,900)

DraftKings Running Backs - Week 12 DFS Picks

Rachaad White - TB @ IND ($6,100)

White has been deployed as one of the NFL's few legitimate workhorses at the RB position this season. His usage numbers are elite. He's one of just four backs (Etienne, CMC, & Jacobs) that's logged a snap count of over 500. He's toted the rock 141 times and been targeted 44 times through the air this season while averaging just over 19 touches per game over Tampa Bay's last five. That massive volume has resulted in White topping 17 DK points in four consecutive games.

He draws a plus matchup against the Colts in Week 12. Indy has relinquished the NFL's third-most rushing TDs to the running back position and has allowed a juicy 6.17 yards per target to opposing backs through the air.

Jaylen Warren - PIT @ CIN ($5,400)

To the delight of Steelers fans, much-maligned offensive coordinator Matt Canada was relieved of his duties earlier this week. While we're not sure what - if any - substantive changes new Pittsburgh play-caller Mike Sullivan will institute in Week 12, one possibility is the continued increase of Jaylen Warren's role.

Frustratingly stuck behind Najee Harris for the majority of the year, Warren has truly broken out across Pittsburgh's last three games. Since Week 9, he's averaging an otherworldly 9.1 yards per carry and leads the NFL in rushing. He's now gone over 100 rushing yards and scored a rushing TD in each of the Steelers' last two. While I don't expect Harris to completely disappear from the game plan in Canada's absence, a 60-40 or slightly better split in Warren's favor would pay big DFS dividends at this $5.4k price point.

MORE TOP RB PLAYS: Travis Etienne Jr. ($7,100); Derrick Henry ($6,400)

DraftKings Wide Receivers - Week 12 DFS Picks

Tank Dell - JAX @ HOU ($6,900)

It seems like the only thing that can slow Tank Dell down is being featured in this article, as he's, unfortunately, seemed to have his worst games when I write him up. However, I don't believe in jinxes, so the explosive rookie is again going into my core player pool against the Jags in Week 12.

Dell and this Texans offense have been one of 2023's biggest surprises and the duo of Dell and fellow rookie C.J. Stroud have been straight cooking as of late. Since Week 9, Dell has totaled 319 yards and four TDs on 20 receptions. That success has been aided by Stroud's willingness to feed him the ball, as he's amassed a ridiculous 35 targets over Houston's last three.

In a Week 12 divisional showdown with Jacksonville, Dell draws a slumping Jags secondary that's allowed a chunky 9.10 yards per target to opposing wideouts over their last four games.

Rashid Shaheed - NO @ ATL ($4,300)

With six games off the DraftKings Main Slate this week, we're forced to dive a little deeper than normal at the WR position. In a search for upside, New Orleans' deep threat Rashid Shaheed represents an interesting salary saver at just $4,300.

Saints receiver Michael Thomas has been placed on IR with a knee injury. Thomas' absence should lead to increased opportunities for Shaheed, as well as rookie A.T. Perry against the Atlanta Falcons. After Thomas left Week 10 with an injury, Shaheed earned a juicy 20.9% target share. While Chris Olave will draw the attention of Atlanta's top corner A.J. Terrell, Shaheed could do damage down the field against a Falcons secondary that's relinquished the NFL's fifth-most TDs (five) to the WR position in 2023.

MORE TOP WR PLAYS: A.J. Brown ($9,000); Christian Kirk ($5,700); Demario Douglas ($4,400)

DraftKings Tight Ends - Week 12 DFS Picks

Trey McBride - LAR @ ARI ($4,700)

The second-year pro continues to spread his wings with veteran tight end Zach Ertz on Injured Reserve. Since Week 8, McBride has amassed 291 receiving yards and a score on 26 catches while his 35 targets are the third-most at the TE position over that four-game span.

McBride has formed a nice rapport with Kyler Murray. The Colorado State product is averaging a whopping 10.9 yards per attempt on targets from Murray. McBride draws an excellent Week 12 matchup against a Rams squad that's allowing the NFL's second-most yards per target (8.88) and third-most TDs (five) to the TE position this season.

Evan Engram - JAX @ HOU ($4,200)

This is a terrific "buy low" spot on Jaguars tight end Evan Engram, who comes in with a season-low $4,200 price tag. Engram's role in this Jacksonville offense has remained rock solid in 2023, as he ranks inside the top five at the position in both targets (74) and receptions (59). However, he has been held out of the end zone for the entirety of the 2023 campaign, which has caused his DK price to plummet and his game logs to feel mediocre.

I love the underlying upside Engram brings to the table this week in what's a terrific matchup for him against Houston. The Texans have been routinely tagged by opposing tight ends and have allowed the fifth-most DraftKings points in the NFL to the position.

MORE TOP TE PLAYS: Dalton Schultz ($5,400); Dalton Kincaid ($5,300)
