PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, January 3.

Single Stat NBA Totals - DFS Prop Picks

Kevin Huerter OVER 14.5 Points - I'll start things off with Kevin Huerter's points prop. Huerter's points and threes props have been a favorite of mine this season, despite him only hitting this number in two of his last five and four of his last ten. He gets a solid matchup against the Jazz tonight, though, who rank 16th in points allowed to shooting guards over the course of the season and have dropped to dead-last (30th) in points allowed to shooting guards over the last seven days. My model projects Huerter to score 18.3 points tonight, so we're getting solid value on this line.
Domantas Sabonis OVER 34.5 Points + Rebounds - I'll take a look at Huerter's teammate tonight, Domantas Sabonis, and his points + rebounds prop. Sabonis has only hit this number at a 29% clip on the season but has hit this in three of five and six of ten. Like Huerter, it's a good matchup for Sabonis, as the Jazz rank 30th in points allowed and 27th in rebounds allowed to centers over the course of the season and over the last seven days, respectively. My model projects Sabonis for 40.3 P+R, so we're getting good value on this number as well.
Kelly Olynyk OVER 7.5 Rebounds + Assists - I'll look for the "trifecta" in this game, taking a look at the other side of the court and Kelly Olynyk's rebounds + assists prop. Olynyk has hit this number in three of five, eight of ten, and at a 63% clip on the season. The Kings rank 19th in rebounds allowed to centers over the course of the season, and 23rd over the last seven days. They also rank 27th in assists allowed to centers over the course of the season, and 30th over the last seven days. My model projects Olynyk for 12.1 PR tonight.
Other Recommendations - Jayson Tatum OVER 8.5 Rebounds, Derrick White OVER 2.5 Assists, Al Horford OVER 15.5 Points + Rebounds
