NBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks – FanDuel DFS Basketball Advice for 10/28/15

Welcome back, welcome back, welcome baaaaack. Your team begins the night with 2 points if you read that in your Mase voice.

The NBA season has finally graced us with its return. It wasn't really gone all that long and technically, it returned yesterday, but three games isn't exactly an exciting DFS slate. Limited options equals limited fun. Tonight, basketball is back in full force, with 14 games on the docket. Twenty-eight teams in action means there's lot of options, and therefore, lots to dissect.

Early in the season especially, these selections will be based heavily on opportunity (minutes) and Vegas projections for the game.

Introducing RotoBaller's Daily Fantasy Basketball Premium Subscription

Get an edge on your NBA DFS competition with cutting edge tools, projections, lineup picks, and key stats. Our NBA DFS Premium Subscription includes our DFS Value Picks Tool, Daily NBA Projections, and our DFS Cheat Sheet with Key Lineup Picks to help you win DFS cash games and GPPs.

We offer weekly, monthly or seasonal Premium NBA Subscriptions.

FanDuel Point Guard Picks

Chris Paul (PG, LAC) - $9,800

Paul has shown no ill effects of a finger injury he sustained last week and he's exceeded 20 FanDuel points while playing limited minutes - no more than 26 - in the pre-season contests. He and his fresh legs should be out there for 30-35 minutes tonight in a game with the second highest over/under in Vegas at 210.

Ricky Rubio (PG, MIN) - $7,400

Rubio is healthy and loaded with more offensive options to dish to than he ever has had before. He's a nice value at 7,400 for a point who should play 25+ minutes against a defense in the Lakers that doesn't project to be very strong.

Also consider: Reggie Jackson (PG, DET) - $8,300

FanDuel Shooting Guard Picks

James Harden (SG, HOU) - $10,800

Harden is going to be a monster once again this season and it all starts tonight. I really don't think a poor defensive team like Nuggets has anyone on their roster that can remotely slow him down. His usage rate is off the charts for good reason and the ball will certainly be moving through him when the Rockets are on the attack. This game projects to be the highest scoring of the night with a 212 over/under.

Eric Bledsoe (SG, PHX) - $7,300

The only thing holding Bledsoe back last season was minutes as he was stuck in a three point guard rotation for much of the season. He has the reigns to the Suns' fast-paced offense and he can fill up the stat sheet in a number of ways. His ability to draw steals on defense makes him extra intriguing.

Also consider: Victor Oladipo (SG, ORL) - $7,600

FanDuel Small Forward Picks

Carmelo Anthony (SF, NYK) - $9,400

Even with the help the Knicks added to their roster this offseason, there's no question as to who is option number one on offense. Carmelo isn't likely to stuff any other categories than points, but he's priced fairly and should take a high volume of shots tonight.

Gordon Hayward (SF, UTA) - $7,400

The Jazz offense may not run entirely through Hayward but he's one of the forwards I like to put up solid FanDuel numbers even when he doesn't get a high number of shots up. In other words, his upside isn't linked entirely to scoring. He's got great vision and usually grabs a few boards, too.

Also consider: Andrew Wiggins (SF, MIN) - $7,600

FanDuel Power Forward Picks

Chris Bosh (PF, MIA) - $9,000

Bosh has looked healthy this pre-season and in playing more than 30 minutes in a recent game, his stamina looks to be serviceable at the very least. He should get plenty of looks on offense against a Charlotte team that could struggle keep him in check.

Zach Randolph (PF, MEM) - $7,200

With a price tag like that, Z-Bo has a chance to far exceed his expected value. He gets his fair share of buckets and he's a beast on the boards. I also like the fact he and Memphis face off against a Cleveland team that is soft down low and happens to have played last night in a tight contest with the Bulls.

Also consider: Ed Davis (PF, POR) - $5,200

FanDuel Center Picks

Nikola Vucevic (C, ORL) - $7,900

Nikola can do a little bit of everything and he's very active on the offensive end - whether it be when the offense moving through him or when he's creating his own opportunities off the glass.  At such a low price, I think he's the best value on the board among centers this evening.
