NBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks - FanDuel Basketball Advice for 3/18/16

So, who else is back to NBA after that Baylor loss? Forget about both Baylor and Purdue tonight.

It is time for the professionals to play. Brackets do not mean a thing in the NBA.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy NBA lineup picks for FanDuel on 3/18/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays on FanDuel.

FanDuel DFS Guards

James Harden (vs MIN, $10,300)

James Harden, prior to his last game, which was against the Los Angeles Clippers, was really not playing all that well. He had under 40 fantasy points in three straight games, but he should start to turn things around now that he finally posted over 45 fantasy points. Harden has ridiculous upside, which makes him a great play for tournaments. Against the Toronto Raptors and New Orleans Pelicans, he posted over 65 fantasy points. That is twice in his last 10 games that he did that. He is a much better tournament play than a 50/50 play, but he can be used in either.

Brandon Knight (at LAL, $6,500)

Brandon Knight is playing for the Phoenix Suns again, which is a little dumb for the Suns to risk another injury, but it is what it is. He is playing over 35 minutes per game, and he is producing at a high level. Against the Golden State Warriors, he posted over 45 fantasy points in 37 minutes on the court. In his last game, he posted 24.3 fantasy points in 41 minutes, which is not really all that great, but his price tag is too low. The Los Angeles Lakers are not going to slow him down, so feel free to fire him up in all formats - both 50/50 contests and tournaments. He is likely to hit value and has ridiculous upside.

Isaiah Canaan (vs OKC, $3,900)

Isaiah Canaan is continuing to play big minutes for the Philadelphia 76ers, and until his price tag comes up a little bit, he can continue to be used in both 50/50 contests and tournaments. In his last five games, he has over 20 fantasy points in four games. He also has over 30 minutes in three of those last five games. Tonight, he gets a semi-tough matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder, but due to his low price tag and amount of time on the court, the matchup gets disregarded. Use Canaan in all formats tonight.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Kevin Durant (at PHI, $10,400)

Kevin Durant played great in his last game, which was against the Boston Celtics. He approached a triple-double with seven rebounds and nine assists, but failed to get there. He did, however, only play 30 minutes due to the blowout factor. Tonight, he will likely sit the fourth quarter as well, but he could seriously triple-double in only 25-30 minutes on the court. The Sixers are horrible, and Durant is going to score easily. He has taken over the Oklahoma City Thunder's offense from Westbrook, so feel free to use him in all formats.

Nerlens Noel (vs OKC, $6,700)

Since the string of injuries for the Philadelphia 76ers, Nerlens Noel has been playing better than usual. In his last four games, he has two games over 30 fantasy points, posting 34.2 fantasy points against the Brooklyn Nets and 38.8 fantasy points against the Houston Rockets. He has over 25 fantasy points in all of his last four games, and he should continue to play well tonight. If the Sixers want any chance to keep this game close, Noel will see the ball in his hands quite often. He has also been blocking the ball well of recent, which is great for tournaments. Use him in all formats.

Willie Cauley-Stein (at DET, $3,700)

Willie Cauley-Stein has been playing around 25-30 minutes for the Sacramento Kings of recent. Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to predict when the Kings are going to allow him to play and when they are going to bench him. WCS seems to get into trouble with the coaching staff on a daily basis. Right now, he is on their good side, but it is not unthinkable to see him play around 10 minutes tonight. That said, use him in tournaments because he has been solid of recent. He has over 20 fantasy points in three of his last four games. Tonight, he gets a great matchup against the Detroit Pistons, and he should at least hit value. Avoid him in 50/50 contests.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Andre Drummond (vs SAC, $7,900)

Speaking of WCS and the Sacramento Kings, Andre Drummond is going to take them to school tonight. In his last game, which was against the Atlanta Hawks, he posted almost 40 fantasy points in 34 minutes on the court. He has been up and down of recent, so he is definitely better in tournaments, but he should have no problems tonight against the Kings. The Kings love to push the pace of the game and not play defense. That bodes well for Drummond, as he will get more shots and rebound opportunities.
