Daily Pitcher Matchup Ratings Tool Top Plays

Jerad Eickhoff (SP, PHI) vs Diamondbacks

Solid Stream

Eickhoff has been excellent in June, posting a 1.37 ERA in three starts including six scoreless in his last outing versus Toronto. The Diamondbacks are a solid offense (.413 SLG is ranked 13th) but I'll ride Eickhoff's hot streak today.

Tyler Chatwood (SP, COL) at Marlins

Must Stream

Chatwood has defied logic by posting a 2.89 ERA while calling Coors home. As most astute players know by now, that ERA is thanks to his time away from Coors (0.65 ERA in six starts). Miami's .401 SLG ranked 19th in baseball, making this an excellent play.

Chase Anderson (SP, MIL) at Dodgers

Risky Stream

Even with Anderson's rough outing at San Francisco last week (5 IP, 4 ER), he has a 2.60 ERA in the month of June. The Dodgers .688 OPS versus RHP is 27th in baseball and opponent Mike Bolsinger has been dreadful, making this a great spot to grab a win.

 

Starting Pitchers to Fade in Daily Fantasy Baseball

Wei-Yin Chen (SP, MIA) vs Rockies

Chen has had a rough go at it in June, posting a 5.71 ERA in three starts. Even in his win last week versus San Diego he allowed four (solo) home runs. The Rockies have a .764 OPS versus LHP, 9th overall in baseball.

Edinson Volquez (SP, KC) vs Tigers

The good: Volquez has a 2.06 ERA at home in 2016. The bad: Volquez has a 5.24 ERA versus the Tigers in his career and the Tigers .776 OPS versus RHP is 7th in baseball this year.
