MLB DFS: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (7/6/24) - Today's Top Lineups

Taj Bradley - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, MLB Prospects, Draft Sleepers

The top MLB DFS daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel, DraftKings on July 6, 2024. Mike Marteny's MLB DFS sleepers picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

We have another full Saturday of baseball. It took a while, but both sites are finally synced as far as Saturday slates go. The main slate is once again in the middle of the afternoon with eight games on both sites. That seems to be about the sweet spot for a MLB slate.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on Saturday, July 6, 2024, with the slate starting at 4:05 p.m. EDT. The lineup picks will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is also essential. Good luck, RotoBallers!

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Garrett Crochet at MIA ($10.4K DraftKings; $11.5K FanDuel)

We tailed the NL Pitcher of the Month on Thursday, which worked out well, so we're backing the AL winner today. Crochet posted a 1.91 ERA and 56 strikeouts in six June starts. He also fanned 11 Orioles to close out May. The Marlins are striking out at a healthy 24.7% clip against lefties in the last month. This month won't start any better for them.

Taj Bradley at TEX ($8.5K DraftKings; $9.2K FanDuel)

All aboard the Taj Train! Bradley has only allowed six runs (four earned) over 29 innings in his five starts since a brutal outing in Baltimore destroyed his season-long numbers. The 40 strikeouts in that span are the most impressive part. Texas has abysmal numbers against right-handed pitchers over the last month, but it has improved over the last week. I use that term loosely. Texas is still striking out 20.3% of the time and the .175 ISO and 17 wRC are still middle of the pack at best. This looks like another good spot for Taj.

Yariel Rodriguez at SEA ($6.7K DraftKings; $7.3K FanDuel)

A pitcher at this price against Seattle shall make chalk donkeys of us all. Rodriguez turned in the best start of his career in his last turn, allowing just one run in 6 2/3 innings against Houston while striking out six. Seattle's strikeout rate against righties is the highest in the majors on the season and during every split you look at. It's 29.9% over the last month, 2.8% above Oakland. It balloons all the way to 36.6% over the last week. Rodriguez has enormous potential for the price today on both sites.

Also consider: Hunter Greene vs. DET; Lance Lynn at WAS; Andrew Heaney vs. TEX

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Gunnar Henderson – SS, BAL vs. Luis Medina ($6.6K DK; $4.4K FD)

It was a tough decision between Gunnar and Elly De La Cruz today. Elly has the better ballpark and six steals in the last 10 games. Henderson has a slightly better pitching matchup and is hitting .357 with three homers, seven RBI, and 10 runs scored in the last 10 games. There is no wrong answer here, but I'm siding with the power of Henderson.

Matt Chapman – 3B, SF vs. Logan Allen ($4.8K DK; $3.2K FD)

Once again, Chapman is doing the bulk of his damage against lefties this season. His average is 122 points higher against southpaws with four homers in 87 at-bats. Chapman is hitting everyone of late with a .324 average, three homers, and 11 RBI in the last 10 games. He has even added a steal for good measure.

Mark Vientos – 3B, NYM vs. Bailey Falter ($4.4K DK; $3.8K FD)

Here we have another lefty masher that is coming in on a hot streak. The rookie is hitting .338 with five homers, 12 RBI, and eight runs scored in the last 10 games. Allen is more of a gas can than Falter, but Falter's numbers weren't much better than Allen's in June and the Mets have looked good for the last couple of weeks.

Also consider: Pete Alonso, Jonathan India, Nathaniel Lowe

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Brent Rooker – OF, OAK vs. Cade Povich ($5K DK; $3.6K FD)

Rooker is one of the few right-handed bats that doesn't hit lefties better. However, he does have six homers in 59 at-bats against LHP. Rooker is hitting .361 over the last 10 games with four homers and six RBI. Unfortunately for him, those are the only four runs he has scored. The rest of the Oakland offense is scuffling, but Rooker is possibly in the best stretch of his career.

George Springer – OF, TOR vs. Emerson Hancock ($4K DK; $2.9K FD)

Both sites have been slow to come around to Springer's summer heat wave. Springer is hitting .452 with four homers, 13 RBI, seven runs scored, and a steal in the last 10 games. He hasn't been scoreless in DFS since June 24 in a game in which he started. We are seeing progression back to his career numbers. I'll ride that while it lasts in DFS.

Heston Kjerstad – OF, BAL vs. Luis Medina ($3.5K DK; $2.6K FD)

Kjerstad has hits in four of his last five games, including his first two homers of the season. Kjerstad is on the good side of a platoon with Austin Hays. We don't have a lot of pitch data from Kjerstad, but he has excelled against sliders. That's the secondary pitch that Medina throws most frequently. Kjerstad is a reasonably priced dart in GPP formats.

Also consider: Luis Robert Jr., Heliot Ramos, Jhonkensy Noel

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

1. Reds vs. Matt Manning

2. Giants vs. Logan Allen

3. Orioles vs. Luis Medina
