Max Meyer is a fantasy baseball waiver wire stash for Week 13 (2024). Target Max Meyer as a top prospect free-agent waiver wire pickup for fantasy baseball.
BALLER MOVE: Stash in All Leagues
CALL-UP ETA: June
ANALYSIS: Miami Marlins starting pitching prospect Max Meyer looked strong in the major leagues at the start of the season but was sent back down to Triple-A due to concerns regarding an innings limit. However, Marlins manager Skip Schumaker told the media that he expects Meyer to return to the majors “soon,” which makes him a must-stash candidate in all leagues.
As the number two ranked prospect in the Miami system, Max Meyer has shown promise in his three starts this season, maintaining a 2.12 ERA, 0.82 WHIP, and a 3:14 BB:K ratio. This is highlighted by a strong performance against the high-powered Atlanta Braves, where he tossed six innings of one-run ball with seven punchouts.
Max Meyer held his own today against one of the best lineups in baseball.

The young right-hander has struggled throughout his return to Triple-A, with a 6.75 ERA, 1.65 WHIP, and a 12:34 BB:K ratio. However, in his past four starts, he has an improved 4.50 ERA and 1.36 WHIP, which is a good sign.
Meyer should have a strong chance to remain in the Miami rotation for the foreseeable future which makes him a must-add in all leagues this weekend.
