Main DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks For 11/21/23 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

Kyle Filipowski - College Basketball Rankings, NCAA CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Today's main DraftKings college basketball DFS lineup picks for 11/21/23. Mike Marteny's CBB daily fantasy advice and lineup sleepers to help you win on DraftKings.

You know it's time for the holidays when we have a dual college basketball slate on a Tuesday! The Maui Invitational rolls on. So does the Cancun Challenge. We even have the Blue Devil Challenge, which I could argue is any home game for Duke, but that's not nearly as marketable.

We have big names in action again tonight. Of course, we have Duke. We also have Kansas and Marquette out in Maui. Tennessee and Purdue meet in a top-eight matchup. We have upstart James Madison in action. There are some mid-major darlings in Fresno, New Mexico State, UNLV, and Richmond. Then we have LaSalle. Sorry guys, you're playing Duke. That turns this into an 11-team slate for me.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/21/23, starting at 6 PM Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Kevin McCullar, Kansas ($7,900)

Hunter Dickinson got all of the fanfare, but McCullar, the Texas Tech transfer, has been a much bigger addition. McCullar has recorded two triple-doubles in the last two games. One of those was against Kentucky! We knew that McCullar was a stat sheet stuffer in Lubbock. What we didn't know is that he is an elite scorer as well. McCullar has 71 points in four games so far.

Femi Odukale, New Mexico State ($7,700)

The NCAA permitted Odukale to play. He put up 37.5 DraftKings points in just 22 minutes in the win over Northern Colorado. He appeared to be in shape...he was also in foul trouble. Odukale was an impact player for Seton Hall last year, but like McCullar, wasn't a huge scorer. He dumped in 18 points on just eight shots for the Aggies in his opener.

Xavier Johnson, Southern Illinois ($6,100)

Johnson has scored at will in the first three games for the Salukis. James Madison is going to provide more resistance, but he is a really good passer as well. He can create plays and make plays for himself. That usually is conducive to DFS success. If he can dump in 20 points at this price, that will move us up the standings in a hurry.

Trent Brown, Southern Illinois ($4,400)

Brown plays a ton of minutes and is priced right. He's a capable scorer and runs the offense at times when Johnson is off the court. Brown has made at least three triples in every game so far this season. he doesn't do anything else to create his shot, but he's a good spot-up shooter. At this price, I'll bite.

Also consider: Isaiah Hill, Fresno State ($7,600); Braden Smith, Purdue ($7,500); Dalton Knecht, Tennessee ($7,400); Jordan King, UNLV ($6,900); Xavier DuSell, Fresno State ($6,100); Michael Green, James Madison ($5,600); Dji Bailey, Richmond ($4,500); Christian Cook, New Mexico State ($4,400)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Hunter Dickinson, Kansas ($9,400)

McCullar is getting the triple-doubles; Dickinson is just notching double-doubles. He has been dominant in the interior. He had a 20-20 double-double in the win over Kentucky and dumped in 31 points on 15-of-18 shooting against Chaminade in the first game in Hawaii. Why pay an extra $1,700 for Edey in a tougher matchup when you can get this out of Dickinson?

Terrence Edwards, James Madison ($6,700)

Edwards has averaged 21 points per game in the four games so far. He's a volume shooter, but he's not a one-trick pony. Edwards is a solid passer and is active on the glass. This is a really good matchup against Southern Illinois. If he can have a good game against Michigan State, I trust him against the Salukis.

T.J. Bickerstaff, James Madison ($5,500)

Bickerstaff sometimes gets into foul trouble (he has played 19 minutes in two of the four games thanks to nine fouls in those two games), but when he stays on the court, he puts up big stat lines. That's why he's cheap. However, he should have his way with Southern Illinois when he is in the game. In the two games in which he has (kind of) kept his hands to himself, Bickerstaff has 41 points and 22 rebounds in 63 minutes. How's that for $5,500?

Robert Carpenter, New Mexico State ($4,100)

Carpenter is usually in foul trouble, but he is the best presence in the frontcourt for the Aggies. He's not a rim protector. He's not even that strong of a rebounder, especially against teams with size. We're playing Carpenter hoping for his four straight game in double figures in scoring.

Also consider: Zach Edey, Purdue ($11,200); Kyle Filipowski, Duke ($9,300); Jalen Hill, UNLV ($6,700); Jonas Aidoo, Tennessee ($6,500); David Joplin, Marquette ($5,400); Julien Wooden, James Madison ($5,100); Clarence Rupert, Southern Illinois ($4,600)
