ANALYSIS: The Cleveland Guardians recently called up one of their top prospects, first baseman Kyle Manzardo, and is worth adding in most formats.
Manzardo is ranked as the number two first base prospect and 39th overall prospect on MLB Pipeline.
Earlier this season, in his 29 games at Triple-A, the 23-year-old Manzardo showcased his skills with a stellar .303/.375/.642 line. He hit nine home runs and maintained an impressive 15:22 BB:K ratio.
Since his promotion to the major leagues, Manzardo has had a slow start. In his first nine games, he has posted a .130/.200/.174 line with no home runs. It is important to remember that this is a transition period for him, and he is still adjusting to the new environment.

However, as he has shown in the minor leagues, Manzardo has high upside and is worth adding if a frustrated league mate has already cut ties with him.
