BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues

OWNED IN: 2% of leagues

ANALYSIS: Los Angeles Angels relief pitcher Jim Johnson may be the major benefactor of another injury to Keynan Middleton and could get save opportunities in Los Angeles. Middleton, who has six saves this season, just came off the disabled list on Thursday. He was put on the DL on May 2 because of elbow inflammation and came off of the mound on Sunday with a similar issue.

This opens up save opportunities for the Angels and a battle between Johnson and Blake Parker for the job. Johnson was the one to replace Middleton on Sunday, but Parker was the one that ended. While Johnson had a 5.56 ERA for the Braves last season, he has saved at least 20 games in each of his two seasons with the Braves and did save 101 games over 2012 and 2013 for the Orioles.

Saves are a precious asset in fantasy baseball (unless you are in a saves+holds league), so Johnson's potential to get saves in Los Angeles make him a must-add. There is a chance that Parker gets saves as well, as the 32-year-old had a 2.54 ERA and eight saves for the Angels in 2017.
