Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett has played well this season. Despite the Seahawks trading away franchise quarterback Russell Wilson in the offseason, the veteran receiver has been a fantasy star with Geno Smith under center.

The former Kansas State star wide receiver is averaging 6.4 receptions on eight targets for 81.2 receiving yards and 13.3 half-point PPR fantasy points per game this season. He is the WR8 for the year in half-point PPR scoring, ahead of several big-name wide receivers, including Deebo Samuel, A.J. Brown, and CeeDee Lamb.

However, should fantasy players start Lockett in Week 6? That will depend on his health.

The star receiver showed up on Thursday’s injury report with a hamstring injury. Coming off an impressive performance in Week 5, fantasy players started to worry about Lockett’s availability for the Week 6 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

However, Lockett is fine and practiced in full on Friday. He was removed from the injury report and is good to go for tomorrow’s NFC West divisional showdown.

Now that the veteran receiver is off the injury report, is Lockett a must-start in Week 6?

The answer is yes. Not only is the Seattle star the WR8 for the year in half-point PPR scoring, but Lockett has been unstoppable since Week 1.

Over the past four weeks, the former Kansas State star is the WR6 in half-point PPR scoring, averaging 7.3 receptions on nine targets for 94.5 receiving yards and 15.6 fantasy points per game. Furthermore, he has zero drops this season.

However, the matchup this week isn’t the greatest on paper for Lockett and DK Metcalf. The Cardinals have held wide receivers to only 23.6 half-point PPR fantasy points per game this season, the sixth-fewest in the NFL. Furthermore, Arizona hasn’t given up a receiving touchdown to wide receivers since Week 2.

While the matchup isn’t terrific, fantasy players should feel confident starting Lockett and Metcalf this week, given how well their quarterback has played lately. Smith has averaged 304.3 passing yards, 2.3 passing touchdowns, and 24.9 fantasy points per game over the past three weeks, throwing at least 268 yards and two touchdowns in all three games.

Both Lockett and Metcalf are top-20 wide receivers in Week 6.
