In Terry McLaurin's four NFL seasons, he's played with 10 different starting quarterbacks. It's not exactly a who's who list of stars: Case Keenum, Dwayne Haskins, Colt McCoy, Alex Smith, Kyle Allen, Taylor Heinicke, Garrett Gilbert, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Carson Wentz, and now Sam Howell.
It can be difficult to string together successful receiving campaigns with that kind of turnover at the quarterback position. Yet, McLaurin has done just that, notching his third straight 1,000-yard season in 2022.
New full-time starter Sam Howell put on a show during the team's victory over Baltimore in their second preseason game Monday night. Losing his top wideout for any amount of time may put a damper on his development.

Terry McLaurin Injury Update For Fantasy Football
McLaurin was injured on a 13-yard reception late in the first half of Monday Night Football. His foot bent behind him as a Ravens linebacker dragged him down.
The fifth-year receiver did not return to the game but was likely only scheduled to play the first half anyway. X-rays came back negative, so a broken toe is seemingly off the table.
McLaurin has generally been healthy in his NFL career, missing only three games in four seasons. He's played all 17 games in each of the last two years.
Terry McLaurin 2023 Fantasy Football Outlook
McLaurin has never been a league-winning wide receiver for fantasy football, but he also hasn't been one to hurt managers either. That's cemented his status as a WR2 for the better part of his young career.
There's growing optimism out of our nation's capital that this offense can take a step forward in 2023. Last season, the Commanders finished 24th in points scored per game (18.9) and averaged 330.3 yards per contest. In the offseason, ex-Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy joined the staff. A quicker passing attack allows Howell to get comfortable in the offense and McLaurin to find soft spots in the defense.
McLaurin is currently coming off the board around the 5oth pick in PPR drafts, near other WR2 options like DeAndre Hopkins, DJ Moore, Christian Watson, and Drake London.
Stick with RotoBaller for updates on McLaurin's recovery timeline. The injury may cause the ex-Buckeye to slip in drafts, meaning you can cash in on good value.
