Mark Andrews has been dealing with a quad injury for three weeks and sat out the season opener against Houston. Is he healthy now? Aidin Ebrahimi aims to answer that question.
Mark Andrews quickly made a name for himself after being picked in the third round by the Ravens in 2018. He made the Pro Bowl in his sophomore campaign before finishing as 2021's fantasy TE1.
Andrews continued his production in 2022 as he made another Pro Bowl appearance in his first season as the primary starter. He was expected to be one of Lamar Jackson's main weapons in 2023 but didn't play in the season opener against Houston.

Is Mark Andrews Injured or Healthy?
Ravens tight end Mark Andrews (quadriceps) is questionable heading into the game against Cincinnati. During a press conference, HC John Harbaugh told reporters, "Mark looks good. We'll see how he does [in practice this week]."
However, Harbaugh has a history of saying his injured players "are fine" before ruling them out for the game. As a matter of fact, he said Andrews "looked good and fine" prior to the Houston game, where he sat out.

Andrews said he suffered the injury during practice and missed multiple practices in the previous weeks. Even when he originally suffered the injury Harbaugh said it was "nothing serious", but it might be more serious than originally thought.
Is Isaiah Likely A Good Fantasy Football Pickup For Week 2?
Hopefully, Andrews can play, as he consistently does well against the Bengals. Andrews has 287 yards and two touchdowns in his last three games against them. The only problem is knowing if he's healthy or not. Harbaugh has been slightly suspicious with his injury for three weeks now, and it's still unclear if Andrews will be ready for Week 2.
If Andrews is ruled out once again, look out for Isaiah Likely. He was very disappointing against Houston, but we shouldn't forget his monster 103-yard game against the Bengals last season with Anthony Brown throwing him the football. However, scoring TDs against this Bengals defense won't be easy. They only gave up three TDs to tight ends last season.
If you're skeptical of Likely, look for Sam LaPorta, who looked good against KC and will play a Seahawks defense that is usually weak against TEs. LaPorta's predecessor, T.J. Hockenson, exploded for 179 yards and two touchdowns against them last season as a member of the Lions.
