Greg Dortch's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 12 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Greg Dortch for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 16+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR6
ANALYSIS: Last week against the Houston Texans, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Dortch had by far his best game of the season. Entering the contest, he had been targeted just twice all year, catching one pass for two yards.
Against Houston, it was a different story. Dortch saw eight targets in the 21-16 loss, catching six of those for 76 yards. He played a season-high 75% of Arizona's offensive snaps.
Having Kyler Murray back in the fold is theoretically a good thing for Greg Dortch, as the two have some familiarity together. However, it's simply too soon to risk playing Dortch in most fantasy formats considering he was a complete non-entity for the first 10 weeks of the 2023 NFL season.
If you're in a 16-team league, you might have to take a risk here and play Dortch, and it's possible that risk pays off based on last week's results. However, in any shallower format, I'm willing to miss out on Dortch because while he has a decent ceiling, he also has a rock-bottom floor and is more likely to hit that than he is to hit his ceiling.
