Dalton Schultz Injury Update

Dalton Schultz is officially listed as questionable heading into the matchup with the Washington Commanders, but Jerry expects him to play in the NFC East showdown.

Michael Gallup carries no injury designation for Sunday’s game called vs. Washington. Dak Prescott is out while Dalton Schultz, Jayron Kearse and Connor McGovern are questionable.

Schultz has been a must-start option when Dak Prescott has been under center, but Cooper Rush at QB makes the start-or-sit decisions much tougher. That said, Rush targeted tight ends Peyton Hendershot and Jake Ferguson a combined six times against the Giants in Week 3, so perhaps Schultz is still a viable play. On the other hand, Michael Gallup (knee) will make his season debut, so Schultz is a risky play in a neutral matchup for tight ends.

T.J. Hockenson Injury Update

Detroit Lions tight end T.J. Hockenson (foot) was taken off the Week 4 injury report on Friday and will play on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. Hockenson sat out of Wednesday's practice, was limited on Thursday, and built up to a full practice on Friday, so he's good to go this weekend. With both running back D'Andre Swift (ankle, shoulder) and receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle), the team's two best playmakers, already being ruled out, Hockenson should take on an elevated role in the passing game against the Seahawks.

The 25-year-old has a touchdown in three games, but he's added only 10 receptions for 82 yards on his 18 targets. He'll have an opportunity for some big production in Week 4 as a low-end TE1 with a high-end TE1 ceiling.

Dawson Knox Injury Update

After limited practices throughout the week, Dawson Knox (back/hip) is officially questionable heading into a matchup with the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4.

Despite Knox's sluggish start, it's hard to bench him if he's active in the premier offense in all of the NFL. He's not likely to command a ton of targets, but at tight end, touchdown upside is significant for fantasy success. Knox hasn't delivered just yet, but perhaps a signature game could come against a struggling Ravens' secondary on Sunday.
