EPL DFS Lineup Picks for DraftKings (11/5/22) - English Premier League Soccer Matchweek 15

Brandon's DraftKings EPL DFS lineup picks for English Premier League soccer on 11/5/22 (Matchweek 15). His top daily fantasy soccer forwards, midfielders, defenders, goalkeepers.

Welcome back to “The Kick-Off”! We are here for Gameweek 15 after the conclusion of the Group Stage in the Champions League and Europa League!!! Today’s slate will feature overwhelming favorites, Manchester City -750. This slate will center around Manchester City and you will need to get creative elsewhere in order to ship your desired GPP. I will guide you through this four-match slate starting at 11:00 A.M. EST. Please Be Advised: Due to the quick turnaround of gameweeks, there can be an increased risk of rest for players. This write-up does not cover the late game on FanDuel because of the differences in the DraftKings and FanDuel slates.

If you have any questions on today's slate, bankroll management, GPP strategy, Cash game strategy, or anything else don’t hesitate to email me at [email protected] or via Twitter @df_solutions or on “SLACK”.

The Kick-Off - EPL Matchweek 15

Vegas Odds for the Day

Goalies

Ederson- DK $5.9K || FD $13

Opponent - Fulham

Ever since Ederson conceded three goals to rivals Manchester United, the keeper has conceded 2 goals over the span of 4 matches. He also has made 7 saves during that run with 5 of them being against Leicester City. With a four-match slate and Manchester City being the heavy favorites, Ederson will see the majority of ownership at the position. The only downfall of Ederson, is the lack of floor he provides due to the lack of shots he sees.

Others To Consider (Cash/GPP): Sanchez (DK $5.1K || FD $11), Raya (DK $4.8K || FD $10)

Forwards

Erling Haaland-DK $11.9K || FD $24

Opponent - Fulham

When Manchester City is on the slate, we all know Haaland will be talked about somewhere. The youngster in 13 appearances in all competitions this season has 20 goals, 2 assists, 55 shots, 14 created chances and 3 crosses. Haaland continues to take the reigns in scoring for the Premier League and he will have yet another worthwhile matchup against Fulham this weekend. Fulham currently sits in the bottom of the league in goals against per 90 – 0.15 – and shots conceded per 90 – 1.23 –.

Rodrigo- DK $8.3K || FD $19

Opponent - AFC Bournemouth

As is tradition, we must highlight a player facing Bournemouth. Realistically, there are not many solidified strikers outside of Erling Haaland on the slate and Rodrigo is the next best option. Despite teammate Patrick Bamford being healthy, Rodrigo is still starting up top for Leeds United. Through 11 appearances this season in all competitions, the striker has 6 goals, 1 assist, 33 shots, 10 created chances and 10 corners. Bournemouth is the second-worst in the league in conceded goals against per 90 – 0.18 – and they are the third-worst in shots against per 90 – 1.45 –.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Mbeumo (DK $6.2K || FD $15), Awoniyi (DK $5.8K || FD $16)

Midfielders

Kevin De Bruyne- DK $9.9K || FD $21

Opponent - Fulham

The idea that we are getting De Bruyne at this salary alone is crazy when considering his form. Add to the fact that he could play as a False 9 if teammate Erling Haaland doesn’t start, making it even better. The midfielder is in superb form right now amassing 2 goals, 1 assist, 12 shots, 14 created chances, 32 crosses and 9 corners in his last five appearances in all competitions. Surprisingly, Fulham does not concede many created chances per game, but they do concede the second-most shots assisted per game. It will be imperative to have the majority set-pieces taker for the overwhelming favorite on the slate in ‘cash’ lineups.

Brenden Aaronson- DK $6.3K || FD $14

Opponent - AFC Bournemouth

Aaronson could see a ‘good’ amount of ownership on the slate in ‘cash’ lineups thanks to his uptick in corners as of late. The midfielder is back and healthy and he has taken more set-pieces than teammate Jack Harrison whose salary is much more than Aaronson’s. Unfortunately for the midfielder, he has yet to get a point in over a month though, last assisting a goal in a 1-1 draw against Everton. Over his 12 appearances this season, he has 1 goal, 1 assist, 15 shots, 24 created chances, 34 crosses, 20 corners and 22 tackles in all competitions.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): March (DK $7.3K || FD $12) ** March is listed as DEF on FanDuel **, Gibbs-White (DK $6K || FD $15)

Defense

Neco Williams- DK $5.5K || FD $11

Opponent - Brentford

After trailing in form the past few matches, Neco was given a rest, coming off the bench in the 5-0 defeat by Arsenal. The fullback did wonders, sending 5 crosses, taking 3 corners and making 1 interception. He will get a much-friendlier matchup at home against Brentford this weekend. The visitors do not concede an abundance of crosses per game, but Neco should get enough space to maneuver the flank as he pleases. In 13 appearances – 11 starts – this season, he has 18 shots, 10 created chances, 52 crosses, 11 corners, 38 tackles, 24 interceptions and 16 clearances in all competitions. Those are solid peripheral numbers and something he needs to start providing again given the lack of offensive support Nottingham Forest possesses.

Issa Diop- DK $2.5K || FD $9

Opponent - Manchester City

Looking more at the FanDuel platform, albeit having value on DraftKings, Diop will be plenty busy in a meeting with Manchester City this weekend. The defender will be parked in front of his keeper the entire game attempting to stop Erling Haaland and company from scoring. This will provide many opportunities to rack up defensive peripherals which is more favorable on FanDuel’s platform but can be done on DraftKings as well. Through 6 appearances – 4 starts –, Diop has 1 goal, 1 shot, 3 tackles, 2 interceptions and 10 clearances.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Cancelo (DK $6K || FD $14), Kristensen (DK $3.8K || FD $11)

Corner Takers:

Leeds United: Aaronson/Harrison

AFC Bournemouth: Tavernier

Manchester City: De Bruyne

Fulham: Pereira

Nottingham Forest: Gibbs-White

Brentford: Jensen

Wolverhampton: Podence/Moutinho

Brighton & Hove Albion: March/Mac Allister

Thanks for reading The Kick-Off! Good luck in all of your contests today!
