DraftKings NCAA Tournament CBB DFS Lineup Picks For 3/23/23 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

Jaime Jaquez - CBB DFS Picks, NCAA Daily College Fantasy Basketball

And then there were 16. The college basketball season has come down to this. 15 games left on the season with four of them happening tonight.

We have some expected teams still in it such as UCLA, Gonzaga, UConn, and Kansas State, but Michigan State, FAU, Arkansas, and to some extent Tennessee, have crashed the party. Which ones keep crashing and which ones crash and burn? We don't really care, we're just here for the DFS!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on March 23, 2023, starting at 6:30 pm Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Markquis Nowell, Kansas State ($9,400)

Nowell has had a monster tournament so far, piling up 44 points, 23 assists, eight rebounds, and even six steals through the first two games. He is one of the best passers I've seen in recent years and he makes the whole team better because of it. It's not just that, though. He's a legit sharpshooter and is excellent from the foul line. All of this makes Nowell a low-risk play with a good ceiling, which is exactly what I'm looking for in a high-priced player.

Amari Bailey, UCLA ($7,000)

Bailey continues to put up strong numbers in place of Jaylen Clark. Bailey has averaged 30.4 DraftKings points per game since Clark went down. He still feels like a bargain at this price. Bailey has been very consistent to assemble that average as well. He has only fallen under 29 DraftKings points once in that span. His ceiling isn't that high with Jaime Jaquez Jr. around, but Bailey is a must in cash games and still has enough upside for GPP consideration.

Davonte Davis, Arkansas ($6,200)

Davis has caught fire in the NCAA Tournament. He has led the Piggies in scoring with 41 points in the two games, racking up 68.5 DraftKings points in that span. He scored 21 in the second half alone in knocking out defending champion Kansas. What will he do for an encore? At this price tag, I'll be happy to find out!

Also consider: Tyger Campbell, UCLA ($7,900); Tyson Walker, Michigan State ($7,200); Ricky Council IV, Arkansas ($6,600); Nick Boyd, Florida Atlantic ($5,400); Brandon Weatherspoon, Florida Atlantic ($3,600)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Anton Watson, Gonzaga ($8,000)

Drew Timme gets most of the attention, but that's not always a good thing, especially come tournament time. We have seen teams dedicate to stopping, or at least slowing down Timme, which leaves Watson to stack the stat sheet. He has at least 30 DraftKings points in each of the last six games while only scoring in double figures four times in that span. His constant contributions in other categories have me leaning towards Watson to pair with Nowell. Value is rather scarce on this slate and I'll need the $2000 savings over Jaquez to pull this lineup off.

Olivier Nkamhoua, Tennessee ($6,200)

Nkamhoua has come up big when the Vols really need him. He has at least 20 DraftKings points in each of the last three games, including 27 real points to chew up Duke on the inside and get the Vols to the second weekend. The loss of Zakai Zeigler happened at a critical time of the season and Tennessee is still trying to figure out how to best operate without him. The last three games suggest that making Nkamhoua a larger part of the offense should be a continuing trend.

Giancarlo Rosado, Florida Atlantic ($4,800)

Rosado is a high-energy guy off the FAU bench. He's a very efficient scorer and his normally solid work on the boards is going to be needed against a team like Tennessee. The Vols have a few big guys that they can throw at the Owls like Memphis did. Rosado has 61.5 DraftKings points over the CUSA Championship and the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament. His strong play is one of the reasons the Owls are still alive. Expect another solid game in the Sweet 16 as well.

Also consider: Jaime Jaquez, UCLA ($10,000); Adama Sanogo, Connecticut ($7,800); Joey Hauser, Michigan State ($7,500); Vladislav Goldin, Florida Atlantic ($5,800); Malik Hall, Michigan State ($5,300); Jordan Walsh, Arkansas ($5,200); David N'Guessan, Kansas State ($4,200)
