DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (11/24/23): Today's Top NBA DFS Lineups

Giannis Antetokounmpo - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on November 24, 2023. Mike Barner provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

The NBA returns from a break on Thanksgiving to play 10 games Friday. Two of them have early start times, which means we are left with eight games to choose players from for the main DFS slate.

There are some big names that are questionable for this slate. Among them are Jaylen Brown (thigh), Bam Adebayo (hip), Desmond Bane (foot), and Zach LaVine (foot). Some players who have already been ruled out include Keegan Murray (back) and Jaden McDaniels (ankle).

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 11/24/23. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome new NBA injuries report tool as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7:30 PM ET. Good luck RotoBallers!

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Tyrese Haliburton, IND vs. DET – PG ($11,000 DK; $10,600 FD)

As good as he was last season, Haliburton is even better now. In three of his last four games, he has at least 33 points and 15 assists. He is averaging 12.3 assists per game for the season, putting him on pace to lead the league in the category. His 52.1 percent shooting from the field has also enabled him to provide 25.3 points per game. The Pistons rank in the bottom 10 in the league in defensive rating, so don’t look for them to be the team that slows Haliburton down.

Cade Cunningham, DET at IND – PG ($7,800 DK; $7,700 FD)

This is going to be a popular game to select players from. The Pacers are one of the most fantasy-friendly teams to play against, given that they have played at the fastest pace and have the worst defensive rating in the league. The top player on the Pistons to consider is Cunningham, who is averaging career-highs in points (21.4) and assists (7.3) per game.

Malik Beasley, MIL vs. WAS – SG/SF ($4,800 DK; $4,800 FD)

We just saw Beasley play the Wizards last week. A strong fourth quarter helped him finish with 16 points, five rebounds, two assists, and three three-pointers. While he only scored six points versus the Celtics in his last game, he has scored at least 16 points in three of his last five games. Given that the Wizards have played at the second-fastest pace and have the third-worst defensive rating, Beasley could provide value again in this rematch.

ALSO CONSIDER: Damian Lillard, MIL vs. WAS – PG ($9,400 DK; $8,700 FD); Coby White, CHI at TOR – PG ($5,600 DK, $5,900 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL vs. WAS – PF/C ($11,100 DK; $11,400 FD)

Giannis is on the injury report for this matchup with an illness, but he is listed as probable. Assuming he plays, he comes with a tremendously high ceiling. The Wizards don’t have much of a presence in the paint with Daniel Gafford being their only big that provides much resistance. Giannis dominated them in their previous meeting, posting 42 points, 13 rebounds, and eight assists across 34 minutes.

Ausar Thompson, DET at IND – SF/SG ($6,800 DK; $7,100 FD)

Thompson is one of the few bright spots on defense for the Pistons. He has wreaked havoc, which has left him with 1.1 steals and 1.7 blocks per game. He’s not an efficient shooter, but he has still averaged 11.3 points to go along with 10.1 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. His ability to contribute in so many different areas makes him appealing when you factor in the fast pace at which the Pacers have played.

Buddy Hield, IND vs. DET – SF/SG ($5,500 DK; $5,000 FD)

Hield began the season with a reduced role off the bench. It was a bit surprising, given that he provided 16.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 3.6 three-pointers over 31 minutes per game last season. The Pacers finally decided to make a change, putting him back in the starting lineup for their last two games. He logged at least 31 minutes in both games, scoring 24 and 31 points, respectively. As long as he starts again, he could provide significant value.

ALSO CONSIDER: Zion Williamson, NO at LAC – PF ($8,500 DK; $8,100 FD); Pascal Siakam, TOR vs. CHI – PF ($8,200 DK; $8,100 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Victor Wembanyama, SA at GS – C/PF ($8,800 DK; $8,700 FD)

The Warriors will remain shorthanded up front with Draymond Green serving the final game of his suspension. That leaves them severely compromised for this matchup with the dynamic Wembanyama. Despite producing a couple of offensive duds lately, Wembanyama is coming off one of his best games of the season in which he posted 22 points, 15 rebounds, three assists, three blocks, and one steal against the Clippers.

Jalen Duren, DET at IND – C ($6,600 DK; $6,700 FD)

An ankle injury has forced Duren to miss the last five games for the Pistons. He’s not even on the injury report for Friday, setting up the Pistons to receive a significant boost in the middle. He was having a great season before suffering the injury, averaging 12.6 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.1 blocks over 29 minutes per game. There has been no word of him being on a minutes restriction, so another juicy double-double could be on the horizon.

Dario Saric, GS vs. SA – C/PF ($5,100 DK; $5,700 FD)

The absence of Green has left Saric with an expanded role. While he still isn’t playing a ton, he has averaged 13.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.8 three-pointers over the prior four games without Green. The Spurs do have size up front, but with them playing at the fourth-fastest pace in the league, Saric should still receive enough opportunities to be worth rostering in tournament play.

ALSO CONSIDER: Nikola Jokic, DEN at HOU – C ($12,900 DK; $12,500 FD), Jakob Poeltl, TOR vs. CHI – C ($5,900 DK; $6,300 FD)
