DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (11/20/23): Today's Top NBA DFS Lineups

Jayson Tatum - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball, NBA Injury News

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on November 20, 2023. Mike Barner provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

The NBA starts off the week with eight games on the schedule Monday. There will be plenty of stars in action with the Nuggets, Celtics, Bucks, Clippers and Warriors among the teams to take the floor.

With a busy schedule comes injuries. Devin Vassell (groin) has missed two straight games for the Spurs and is listed as doubtful to face the Clippers. On the bright side of things, Bulls’ sparkplug Alex Caruso (toe) is listed as probable.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 11/20/23. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome new NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7:00 pm EST.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

De’Aaron Fox, SAC at NO – PG ($9,300 DK; $9,900 FD)

The Kings routed the Mavericks on Sunday, so Fox only had to play 31 minutes. Still, he finished with 30 points, four rebounds, seven assists, and three steals. He is having the best scoring season of his career, averaging 31.9 points and shooting 50.6 percent from the field. His biggest improvement has come from behind the arc, where he is shooting 41.7 percent. With all of the minutes and shot attempts that he can handle likely coming his way again, he makes for an excellent target at the guard position.

Fred VanVleet, HOU at GS – PG ($7,500 DK; $8,000 FD)

The Warriors are set to play without one of their best perimeter defenders in Gary Payton II (foot). That should help VanVleet, who is averaging a career-high 8.8 assists per game with his new team. The one downside with VanVleet is that he is not efficient, shooting just 39.2 percent from the field. Still, his role as one of the leaders of the Rockets has enabled him to average 17.2 points per game.

Malik Beasley, MIL at WAS – SG/SF ($4,900 DK; $4,800 FD)

He might not be a big name, but it’s worth noting that MarJon Beauchamp (ankle) will not play Monday for the Bucks. He has logged 17 minutes per game, which could open up more playing time for Beasley. Across five games in which Beasley has played at least 30 minutes, he has averaged 13.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.0 three-pointers. The Wizards have played at the second-fastest pace in the league, so the potential for added minutes makes Beasley worth considering.

ALSO CONSIDER: Stephen Curry, GS vs. HOU – PG/SG ($9,800 DK; $9,000 FD); Jordan Hawkins, NO vs. SAC – PG/SG ($5,800 DK, $5,200 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Jayson Tatum, BOS at CHA – SF/PF ($10,200 DK; $10,200 FD)

This is the second game of a back-to-back set for the Celtics. Jaylen Brown (groin) was a game-time decision for Sunday, but ended up playing against the Grizzlies. It would not be a surprise to see the Celtics give him the night off, or at least limit his minutes. Even if Brown plays, this is a stellar matchup for Tatum, given that the Hornets have the worst defensive rating in the league. If Brown is out, though, Tatum is someone to consider building your entire lineup around.

Duncan Robinson, MIA at CHI – SF/SG ($5,900 DK; $6,000 FD)

The Heat and Bulls just played each other Saturday. Robinson thrived, recording 17 points, three rebounds, seven assists, and four three-pointers over 35 minutes. Since moving into the starting lineup, Robinson has averaged 19.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 3.8 three-pointers over five games. Expect him to remain in that role until Tyler Herro (ankle) is able to return.

Miles Bridges, CHA vs. BOS – SF/PF ($5,700 DK; $6,400 FD)

Bridges has come off the bench in both games since returning from his suspension. He hasn’t been eased back into action, though, logging 33 and 32 minutes, respectively. He also hasn’t looked rusty, averaging 18.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists, while shooting 56.0 percent from the field. If he keeps this up, he won’t be available at such a reasonable salary for much longer.

ALSO CONSIDER: Victor Wembanyama, SA vs. LAC – PF/C ($8,800 DK; $8,900 FD); Zion Williamson, NO vs. SAC – PF ($8,500 DK; $8,000 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Nikola Jokic, DEN at DET– C ($12,800 DK; $12,800 FD)

Jokic dealt with foul trouble against the Cavaliers on Sunday, which limited him to playing only 28 minutes. Still, he finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists, one steal, and one block. That just illustrates how high his floor is on a nightly basis. Look for him to roast the trio of Isaiah Stewart, Marvin Bagley III, and James Wiseman.

Alperen Sengun, HOU at GS – C ($7,900 DK; $8,300 FD)

Payton isn’t the only notable defender that the Warriors will be without Monday. Draymond Green still has three more games to serve on his suspension for an altercation that he had with the Timberwolves. Sengun is averaging 20.1 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game, so his versatile skillset should be difficult for the Warriors to slow down without Green.

Kevon Looney, GS vs. HOU – C ($5,500 DK; $5,800 FD)

The Warriors are going to need Looney’s size to battle with Sengun. Behind him on the depth chart is Dario Saric and Jonathan Kuminga, neither of which is a good fit to try and slow down Sengun. Looney has provided 6.1 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in only 24 minutes per game, so the potential for added playing time could allow him to provide value.

ALSO CONSIDER: Domantas Sabonis, SAC at NO – C/PF ($10,000 DK; $10,400 FD), Ivica Zubac, LAC at SA – C ($5,600 DK; $6,200 FD)
