DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (7/30/20) - MLB DFS Lineups

Aaron Judge

The top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 7/30/20. Brian Entrekin's MLB DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

We head into Thursday night with an eight-game slate on tap and plenty of nice targets for your DraftKings lineups. The Yankees are in another great spot, while the Mets face Martin Perez in Fenway. There are a few different ways to build your lineups tonight so make sure to listen to MLB DFS Quick Hits, read all of the awesome content at RotoBaller, and then jump in the Premium Slack Chat to build the best lineups for the daily action.

When looking at the slate there are a few pitchers I want to build around and a couple of games to just cross off. There will be the chalk stack, some sneaky stacks like the Indians and Orioles and a lot of nice values to build your cash lineups with.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 7/30/2020. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. You can also read moreDFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers

Dinelson Lamet - P, SD at SF ($9,200)

Lamet is coming off a strong start to the season with eight strikeouts over 5 innings vs the Diamondbacks. Tonight he gets the Giants who we will continue to target time and time again. Some may point to the four home runs and seven runs scored on Wednesday night, but five of those runs were against he Padres bullpen. As Lamet continues to locate the slider, he will rack up the strikeouts and those DK points. Lamet should be a staple in your cash and GPP lineups.

Brady Singer - P, KC at DET ($6,800)

Singer had quite the MLB debut, shutting down the Indians through five innings and striking out seven. Now he gets a Tigers team that is much more built to hit LHP than RHP. Singer utilized his slider to great effectiveness vs the Indians and will be able to do that tonight vs the Tigers. He is too cheap on tonight’s slate and should be the SP2 target in cash and GPP lineups.

Other Options: Dylan Bundy (SEA vs LAA) $8,200

DraftKings DFS Infielders

Salvador Perez - C, KC at DET ($2,600)

Perez started out the year with hits in four straight games, but now has gone hitless in the last two games. What is the cure for this? Ivan Nova. Last year RHH hit .313 with a .355 wOBA vs Nova. Nova has also had the tendency to give up the long ball to RH with a HR/FB% of 16.4% or higher in three of the last four seasons. Salvy is way too cheap tonight and needs to be the cash game catching lock.

Other Options: Wilson Ramos (BOS at NYM) $3,100

Pete Alonso - 1B, NYM vs BOS ($5,100)

Alonso enters Thursday night in a great matchup with Martin Perez. Perez was hit hard in his debut and tonight should be no different. Last season RHH hit .293 with a .355 wOBA and 1.5 HR/9. Alonso loves mashing on LHP and this is a recipe for a big night for the Polar Bear and the Mets.

Other Options: Luke Voit (NYY at BAL) $4,200, Wil Myers (SD at SF) $3,600

D.J. LeMahieu - 2B/3B, NYY at BAL ($4,400)

The Yankees are in another great spot tonight and will be very popular. LeMahieu should be a major piece of that action. He led off on Wednesday night and went 4-5 with a home run and double. He has another great matchup tonight vs John Means who is making his season debut after he was slowed down with a fatigued arm. Last year LeMahieu hit .365 with a .256 ISO vs LHP and should be locked in tonight.

Other Options: Gleyber Torres (NYY at BAL) $5,100, Whit Merrifield (KC at DET) $4,100, Hanser Alberto (BAL vs NYY) $3,600

J.D. Davis - 3B/OF, NYM vs BOS ($3,700)

Two nights ago Davis went deep and I am in on him finding the cheap seats again tonight. Davis should be hitting fourth in the Mets lineup and is too cheap for this great matchup. Last year Davis feasted on LHP with a .313 average, .227 ISO and a hard-hit rate of 48%. Davis is cash and GPP viable tonight.

Other Options: Jeff McNeil (NYM vs BOS) $4,800, Jose Ramirez (CLE at MIN) $4,200

J.P. Crawford - SS, SEA at LAA ($3,400)

There are a lot of solid SS targets tonight, but one that continuously gets overlooked and should be mentioned is J.P. Crawford. Crawford has hit safely in four of six games this season, leading to a .368 average and a .538 OBP. I mention OBP because he is getting hits, but also walking 27% of the time. Getting on base the way Crawford is allows for runs scored and more, leading to fantasy goodness. Crawford is cheap and often overlooked to start the season.

Other Options: Fernando Tatis Jr. (SD @ SF) $5,200, Francisco Lindor (CLE at MIN) $4,200, Adalberto Mondesi (KC at DET) $3,300

DraftKings DFS Outfielders

Aaron Judge - OF, NYY at BAL ($4,900)

Judge enters tonight’s premium matchup vs Means after hitting his first home run of the season last night. This should not take much to convince anyone to play Judge or Stanton. I prefer Judge for the savings and I also target Judge over Stanton vs LHP. Last season Judge hit .343 with a .313 ISO and a 60% hard-hit rate vs LHP. Just lock and load the as court will be in session tonight.

Austin Hays - OF, BAL vs NYY ($4,200)

The Orioles are a contrarian stack I like tonight and that is in large part to their solid RHH vs Happ. Hays is one of those as he is leading off and can set the table for the mashers. Last year Happ gave up a .345 wOBA, 18.2% HR/FB and a 43% hard-hit rate vs RHH last season. Hays is a cheap piece of a contrarian Orioles stack if you are feeling frisky tonight.

Other Options: J.D. Martinez (BOS at NYM) $5,100, Trent Grisham (SD at SF) $3,800

DraftKings DFS Stacks

New York Yankees at Baltimore Orioles (John Means, LHP)

New York Mets vs Boston Red Sox (Martin Peres, LHP)

Cleveland Indians at Minnesota Twins (Jose Berrios, RHP)
