DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks for 3/29/21 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

CBB DFS lineup picks DraftKings NCAA daily college fantasy basketball

Mike Marteny offers his DraftKings daily fantasy college basketball sleepers for 3/29/21. His CBB DFS lineup picks and sleepers will help you win on DraftKings.

The first two tickets to the Final Four will be punched tonight. We have three former Southwest Conference schools and the last Power Five team in the field this year that only made it this far by winning the conference tournament. Yes, some luck is involved to get this far, but as we saw last night, it's mostly skill. This is the time where the best teams shine more than the best players.

We have a huge contrast in styles on today's slate, but when only four teams are involved, it doesn't makes sense to totally ignore one. The Arkansas-Baylor total is all the way up at 148.5. Oregon State and Houston's total is just 129.5. Both Baylor and Houston are favored by more than a touchdown. Oregon State is still the hottest team in the country though. We should have learned by now that we can't just dismiss them. I'll lean more heavily on the late game, but there are good spots in the Oregon State-Houston game. Most of them have to do with Arkansas and Baylor being priced up.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/29/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Ethan Thompson, Oregon State ($7,400)

Many of the high-priced players on this slate have struggled in the tournament so far. Then you have Thompson, who score more than a third of the Beavers' points against a tough Loyola-Chicago defense. Thompson has 104.75 DraftKings points in three wins in the tournament against Tennessee, Oklahoma State, and Loyola-Chicago. All three of them are good defensive teams. All of the sudden, the prospect of running Thompson at Houston's defense doesn't seem like such a terrible idea. When Thompson goes cold though, the Beavers' run will be over.

Dejon Jarreau, Houston ($6,200)

The Cougars reported that Jarreau was going to be about 75% of normal for the game against Syracuse. He proceeded to put up 34.5 DraftKings points. Jarreau, despite being limited by the hip injury suffered inside the second minute of the Cleveland State game, has played 66 minutes and put up 62.25 DraftKings points in the last two games. His price is way too low for the performances that Jarreau is putting up.....at 75% no less! I'm locking Jarreau in in every build.

Davonte Davis, Arkansas ($5,700)

Davis has been the most consistent Arkansas player so far in the NCAA tournament. Moses Moody carried them here, but he has been mostly ineffective thus far. Meanwhile, Davis has 81.5 DraftKings points in the three games for Arkansas to get this far. He's going to have his hands full with Baylor, as will the rest of this team. However, I don't mind taking a shot with Davis in this price range. It's very reasonable for what he's capable of.

Also consider: Davion Mitchell, Baylor ($7,200); Jalen Tate, Arkansas ($6,500); Adam Flagler, Baylor ($4,900)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Justin Smith, Arkansas ($8,000)

Smith has been outstanding for Arkansas since the beginning of February. He has at least 32 DraftKings points in every game but one since the beginning of February. I don't know if we can count on that here since Baylor has the size to keep him off the glass. However, the track record speaks for itself. Smith was able to do this against such teams as Texas Tech, LSU (twice), Alabama, and Florida. It's possible for him to do the same against Baylor.

Justin Gorham, Houston ($6,300)

Gorham is an efficient scorer, but if he's not getting the rebounds, he wont hit value. Warith Alatishe is more rebounder than scorer, so Gorham might have some issues. Gorham's numbers are always better when Houston ugiles up the game. They should be able to do that against Oregon State, who has done much of the same so far in the tournament. There is potential here, but there's some risk involved.

Matthew Mayer, Baylor ($5,000)

In this price range, I'm more concerned with how high the upside is than the bottom line. Mayer has performed well in the tournament so far even though he struggled against Villanova. In all fairness, the entire team did. I'm chasing Mayer hoping for the ceiling games that he put up in the first weekend of the tournament. If you aren't into taking risks with value, Fabian White and Zach Reichle are the safer options, but offer very little upside.

Also consider: Quentin Grimes, Houston ($8,200); Warith Alatishe, Oregon State ($6,900); Mark Vital, Baylor ($5,300)
