Darrell Henderson Jr. is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for running backs. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 11 of the 2023 NFL season.

ANALYSIS: The Rams starting running backs Darrell Henderson Jr. and Royce Freeman have worked in tandem to piece this backfield together. The two runners have been serviceable, with Henderson serving as the slight leader among them. That said, the production has not necessarily been there for either back.
The argument can be made that Darrell Henderson is now a viable drop candidate, as Kyren Williams will soon resurface following his placement on injured reserve (ankle). However, Williams will not return before Week 12, and many managers are attempting to navigate multiple issues that have depleted options at running back in Week 11.
That is the rationale for sustaining Henderson as a potential roster addition for one additional week. Particularly if you have been confronted with the absence of Jonathan Taylor, Alvin Kamara, Bijan Robinson, or Rhamondre Stevenson due to Week 11 byes.
Henderson leads the Rams backfield with 98 snaps since Week 7, while also pacing Los Angeles with 40 rushing attempts and accruing 111 yards on the ground. Henderson has also run 42 routes since ascending into his current role while leading the backfield in targets (seven) and receiving yards (75).
Williams’ absence in Week 11 will sustain Henderson’s role as the Rams’ lead back when Los Angeles hosts NFC West rival Seattle on Sunday. It also presents Henderson as a one-week solution for anyone who is desperate to locate a starting back.
