Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS Picks (6/16/20) - DraftKings, Daily Fantasy

Jorge Pucks' DraftKings. FanDuel DFS lineup picks for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on 6/16/20. He analyzes CS:GO slates and top targets for eSports DFS contests.

Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another edition of my Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS picks. I have to admit, I am having a ton of fun playing and covering eSports DFS at RotoBaller! As always, I will do my best to give you the stats and info you need to build the best lineups possible for your GPP and cash game CS:GO contests on DraftKings which can also be related to FanDuel contests as well.

We have a three-game main slate on DraftKings that involves teams from the BLAST Premier series. The best news is that we are finally back to a best-of-three format and have more than three games on a slate!

Today I'll be bringing you my Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS lineup picks, analysis and advice for eSports DFS contests on DraftKings for Tuesday, June 16th, 2020 at 10:30 AM. Be sure to also check out our awesome CS:GO Premium DFS Tools including our Lineup Optimizer, Research Station, Projections, and DFS Cheat Sheets! Feel free to follow me on Twitter @jorgepucks as I am happy to engage with readers and try to answer your questions. Good luck RotoBallers!

BLAST Premier Series

Best of 3

  • Natus Vincere vs. NiP
  • Complexity (-170) vs. OG (+125)
  • FURIA (-225) vs. MiBR (+170)

CS:GO DFS Captain Considerations

KSCERATO will be a high owned player on this slate but there is good reason for that. He is $8,400 and is carrying a 1.23 K/D ratio over the last 23 maps played. In addition, he has a .69 kill per round rate and a .56 death per round rate over the same 23 map span.

One thing that truly stands out for KSCERATO is his career numbers against MiBR, especially the last 10 maps played. He has a 1.31 K/D ratio and has a 1.20 match rating against MiBR since the start of 2020 so it is hard to not look his way with the matchup and price point.

blameF could go overlooked from the captain spot due to other top players on this slate gaining some ownership which makes him a lower-owned viable target in tournaments. Over the past month, he has produced a 1.45 K/D ratio while having a .77 kill per round rate and only having a .53 death per round rate.

He holds 22% of all kills for Complexity over the last month which is the highest kill percentage on the team. BlameF is priced up at $9,400 which also adds to the thought of him being lower-owned since the inclination could be for people to spend $800 more for s1mple.

Other captain plays: S1mple, k0nfig, HEN1

CS:GO DFS Value Plays

arT is a cheaper piece on FURIA that you can plug into your lineup with the hope that he produces. While he doesn’t possess a strong K/D ratio, he has put up a 1 K/D rate over the last month. What really stands out is his 1.15 match rating over the last 23 maps played while having a 1.45 opening kill rating.

He has been very active and has a .72 kill per round rating which is high for him. While he has struggled in the past against MiBR, his new form could carry him into going plus in this matchup which makes him a viable tournament option.

Poizon could be an overlooked piece in Complexity stacks which makes me look his way even more. He is just $6,800 which is a solid price point for someone who is averaging 50.6 DK points per game. Over his last nine games played, poizon has produced nine games above 40+ DK points and had five of those go for 60+ DK points.

In addition, he is carrying a 1.10 K/D ratio and has a .68 kill per round rate over his last 51 maps played. With his recent form and potential matchup, he looks to be a solid value piece as a part of a Complexity stack or even a one-off kind of play.

Other value plays: plopski, oBo, electronic, ISSAA, hampus

Top CS:GO DFS Stacks

Yankees vs. Redsox…….Michigan vs. Ohio State…….Alabama vs. Auburn…..these are some of the greatest rivalries we have seen in the past 20 years and we get to witness a true Brazilian rivalry between FURIA and MiBR on this three-game slate. These two squads have been duking it out all Spring with FURIA running away with an 8-2 record against MiBR in 10 maps played since the start of 2020. Overall, FURIA owns a 12-3 record against MiBR so it is hard to imagine them dropping a Bo3 with the career record and the recent form that they have shown.

Over the last five regular matches played, they have won 11 maps and only lost 2 which is outstanding. As a team, they have produced a team K/D ratio of 1.13 over the last 23 maps played and have an 18-5 record! Right now, FURIA looks to be the hottest CSGO team so there is no reason to fade them. The big three for FURIA are all in play (KSCERATO, yuurih, HEN1) as they all have above a 1.20 K/D ratio. A cheaper option to include in your FURIA stacks looks to be Art who has been playing well and is flying under the radar.

Complexity really intrigues me as a team to stack on this slate. They are ranked 20th overall in the world and are winners of three of their last five games so they are showing good form recently. Over their last 51 maps played, they have produced a team K/D ratio of 1.15 while having a 37-14 record which results in a 72% winning percentage! Complexity also carries the edge on the map choice selection as they carry a higher winning percentage on six out of seven viable map choices.

One thing that stands out is the recent individual play of the members of Complexity. They have four of their players carrying above a 1.10 K/D ratio and all five of them having a 1.00+ match rating. Their strongest player is blameF who carries a 1.45 K/D ratio over the last month while obo and k0nfig carry above a 1.15 K/D ratio. Poizon looks to be solid value as he has a 1.10 K/D ratio and is under the $7,000 price point.

Other stacks/teams: Natus Vincere

Kill Stats

  • Below is a chart that shows total team kills, number individual kills,  % of kills by each individual, and kill per map average. This could help you breakdown each team on whether they are spread out when it comes to total kills or if more kills come from several players (exp. S1mple and electronic for Navi). This could also help in figuring out how many guys you should stack or if you are looking for a standout one-off for your lineups.
