Breece Hall's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 18 (2023). Should you should start or sit Breece Hall for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in All Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB1
ANALYSIS: It's been a bit of an up-and-down season for New York Jets running back Breece Hall, whose 2022 rookie campaign ended early due to a torn ACL. He opened this season with 127 yards in New York's opener against Buffalo, then had two consecutive games with under 20 rushing yards.
Hall's been on a nice little run lately, though. Two weeks ago against the Washington Commanders, the second-year back out of Iowa State had 20 carries for 95 yards and also added 12 receptions for 96 yards. He followed that up last week against a strong Cleveland Browns defense with another strong showing, toting the rock 13 times for 84 yards while catching all nine of the passes that went his way, gaining 42 yards through the air. That now marks the third time in the last four games that Hall's recorded at least 40 receiving yards.
This week, Hall and the Jets take on the New England Patriots. Hall's looking for a bounceback performance here, as New England held him to 12 carries for 18 yards and one catch for nine yards way back in September. To add to that, New England's allowed the second-fewest rushing yards this season, behind only the Chicago Bears. It won't be easy, but Hall's recent strong play and the fact that the Week 18 slate is always a mess gives Hall low-end RB1 appeal.
