ANALYSIS: After spending his first four years with the Washington Commanders, running back Antonio Gibson signed with the New England Patriots in free agency. Now, Gibson will join Rhamondre Stevenson out of New England's backfield to form a solid duo. However, the 26-year-old might not have much fantasy value in 2024.
With Stevenson expected to be the team's starter, Gibson is in line for another season as a backup. Still, he should have some value in PPR formats, as he has caught at least 40 passes in three straight years and plays on a Patriots team that should be trailing in many games. In Week 1 against the Cincinnati Bengals, though, he is too hard to trust in most formats.

We don't know how much Gibson will play or how much receiving work he will get with Stevenson also a threat through the air. So, even with New England likely trailing a lot against the Bengals, the 26-year-old should only be a flex play in 18-plus team leagues.
