Mackenzie Hughes has yo-yo'ed his way around the golf courses over the past month. One week he misses putts and the cut. The next week he improves. That has been the pattern so far in 2022. One thing that has been better in most of his rounds is ironically the putting. He has gained 0.736 strokes which ranks 11th on tour in the early going. Hughes will need that for four rounds at The Players Championship. Also, the Canadian golfer will have to have better control of the rest of his game. At Pebble Beach, Hughes showed he can play an even-keel game. He will have to do it again at Sawgrass. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
