Houston Texans right tackle Marcus Cannon might not be with his current organization for too much longer. The 33-year-old is heading into his final year of a five-year deal he signed with the New England Patriots in 2016. The veteran tackle was only able to play four games in 2021 before back injuries sidelined him. His release would save the Texans $5.2 million in cap space. This wouldn't be surprising considering Cannon has no guaranteed money left on his deal. Also, the Texans are in the middle of a youth movement, so they don't have much incentive to keep Cannon on the roster. The 10-year veteran should bounce back elsewhere, assuming he's released. He has been fairly productive throughout his professional career.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerRead More News
