New Orleans Saints running back Kendre Miller started the first half of the Saints' second preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Miller finished with six carries for 21 yards in Sunday’s 17-17 tie. He has logged exactly six carries each in the team's two preseason contests as he looks to establish himself as Alvin Kamara's backup following two injury-plagued seasons. With Cam Akers and Clyde Edwards-Helaire turning in underwhelming performances again this week and Devin Neal (hamstring) sidelined by a hamstring injury, the backup job appears to be Miller's to lose.
