Former Carolina Panthers defensive passing-game coordinator and secondary coach Jason Simmons is heading to the Las Vegas Raiders for the same role, according to a source. The Panthers also lost wide receivers coach Frisman Jackson to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Tuesday, meaning head coach Matt Rhule will have six new assistants on his coaching staff for the 2022 season. Simmons joined Rhule's staff in 2021 after nine years with the Green Bay Packers. He and new Raiders defensive coordinator Patrick Graham coached together in Green Bay. The fact that Rhule's assistants are bolting for other jobs around the league speaks to the fact that many believe Rhule won't make it past another season as Carolina's head coach despite signing a seven-year, $62 million contract early in 2020.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
