D'Andre Swift Expects Similar Role To Last Week
D'Andre Swift said he doesn't expect his role to change much in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Green Bay Packers, and he also said he won't need shoulder surgery this offseason. Swift saw the same number of carries (four) as Craig Reynolds in his return last week in the loss to the Seattle Seahawks, gaining 32 yards on the ground while also catching two of his three targets for seven yards. Jamaal Williams led the way with a team-high 11 carries for 22 yards and a touchdown. Despite the limited role, Swift played a team-high 57% of the offensive snaps. If Williams once again handles most of the backfield touches for Detroit this weekend and Reynolds remains involved, Swift will be a low-upside RB3/flex to close out the season against Green Bay.
