Josh Johnson Will Start Sunday, Ravens Add Kenji Bahar To Roster
Josh Johnson will make his first NFL start since 2018 on Sunday when traveling to face the Bengals. While Johnson is a last-minute option with Lamar Jackson (ankle) and Tyler Huntley (Reserve/COVID-19) unavailable, he has prior experience from this season to draw upon: a 27-for-41 effort in Week 9 with the Jets where he threw for 317 yards and three touchdowns. Some fantasy managers may view Johnson being under center as a damper to the fantasy upside of likely must-start options such as Mark Andrews and Marquise Brown, but the veteran is likely to rely heavily on the team's premier pass-catching options. With fellow backup Chris Streveler (Reserve/COVID-19) also out, Kenji Bahar -- who played collegiately at Monmouth -- has been promoted to the active roster and will serve as Johnson's backup.
