Lamar Jackson, Tyler Huntley Will Miss Sunday’s Contest
Lamar Jackson (ankle) and Tyler Huntley (illness) ruled out. Jackson's absence due to an ankle injury marks his second contest in a row on the sidelines, while Huntley was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday. The team will roll with veteran Josh Johnson under center, who is set to make his first start since 2018 during a stint with Washington. Johnson played most of the Jets' Week 9 loss to Indianapolis, compiling 317 passing yards and three touchdowns. Huntley had proven to be an adept fill-in for Jackson, although whether he'll get another starting chance remains unclear with both having a week to heal up before a matchup vs. the Rams.
