Ottawa Senators goaltender Matt Murray (neck) was placed on Injured Reserve on Sunday after he exited Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Rangers early. The Thunder Bay, Ontario, native was hit in the head by Chris Kreider's knee. According to Ottawa head coach D.J. Smith, Murray is dealing with neck trouble. The former Penguin has been awfully unlucky this season, as he missed the first week of action with an illness and has logged just 112 minutes so far. Murray has recorded a nice 1.60 goals-against average and a .936 save percentage. The Senators called up Filip Gustavsson to make up the numbers. Anton Forsberg, who is 1-2-0 for the season, will be the de facto starter until Murray gets healthy.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
