New York Islanders winger Kyle Palmieri started the season with two assists in Thursday's 6-3 loss to Carolina. The Islanders top line, which also includes Anders Lee and Mathew Barzal, had a very productive night as they combined for four points. Palmieri led the team with four shots and also picked up one block and one hit in 18:10 of ice time. The former New Jersey Devil had an underwhelming start in New York last season with only four points in 17 outings, but he's nicely placed for a good bounce-back year and fantasy managers should have him on their watchlist.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
