The Chicago Bears placed running back Damien Williams on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Thursday. The Bears are already without David Montgomery (knee), who is on Injured Reserve, so rookie Khalil Herbert is now in position to start in a dream matchup against the Green Bay Packers this Sunday. It's unclear if Williams tested positive for the virus, but either way he's now unlikely to be available for Week 6. Ryan Nall is the only other running back on the Bears active roster. Even with Williams taking over for Montgomery last weekend, Herbert still out-carried Williams 18 to 16 and had 75 rushing yards. If Williams doesn't gain clearance in time for Sunday, Herbert should be started in most fantasy leagues as Chicago's primary back.
