Brent Rooker Swats Seventh Homer
Brent Rooker went 1-for-3 with a solo homer in Tuesday's defeat of the Indians. Rooker extended the Twins lead to 2-0 with his seventh homer of the year in the seventh inning, a 421-foot blast that left his bat at 104.1 MPH. The 26-year-old is off to a strong start in September, as he's batting .400 with two runs scored, a homer, and an RBI in four contests. Rooker has been rather streaky this season, so it's best to avoid him in redraft formats this year, though he's one to keep an eye on, as he could earn a starting role in the Minnesota outfield in 2022.
