Daily Fantasy Baseball Streamers - MLB Hitter, Pitcher Lineup Picks for Monday 6/28

Akil Baddoo - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Injury News

Top daily fantasy baseball streamers and waiver wire adds for 6/28/21. Frank Ammirante identifies MLB hitters and starting pitchers to stream based on matchups.

Welcome to the another edition of our daily fantasy baseball streamers! Are you playing in leagues with daily moves and looking to beef up those rosters? We here at RotoBaller are there for you and all of your streaming needs.

Each day RotoBaller will provide you with some of the best streaming options to consider in both shallow and deep fantasy baseball daily leagues. Streaming hitters and pitchers to exploit matchups are important to help you win your league. You can also use these recommendations to help build your DFS lineups. This article will use rostered percentages and position eligibility from Yahoo! leagues.

Today we have an 11-game slate, giving us a deep pool of streamers.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball lineup tools and resources:

Hitter Streamers for 6/28 - Shallow Leagues

C.J. Cron (1B, RHB, COL) 48% Rostered

Matchup: vs. PIT LHP Tyler Anderson

Cron is slashing .355/.412/.645 at Coors this season, making him a great play against Anderson, who has given up a .328 xwOBA (35th-percentile) and 1.57 HR/9. There's a good chance that this is a high-scoring game, so Cron should be able to have his fair share of opportunities for run production. He's also homered five times in his last 11 games, which makes him even more of an appealing streamer in shallow leagues.

Christian Walker (1B, RHB, ARI) 22% Rostered

Matchup: at STL LHP Wade LeBlanc

Walker is swinging a hot bat of late, going 8-for-25 (.320) with six runs, two homers, and three RBI in his last seven games. He has a good matchup against LeBlanc, who has pitched in long relief this season. This is going to be a bullpen game for the Cardinals. Their bullpen has posted a 4.18 ERA (4.10 FIP) this year. Walker has a good chance to keep the good times rolling in this exploitable matchup.

Akil Baddoo (OF, LHB, DET) 18% Rostered

Matchup: at CLE RHP Eli Morgan

Baddoo has had an impressive rookie season considering he didn't have any plate appearances above A-ball coming into this season. His 13.4% walk rate along with eight stolen bases has bumped him to the leadoff spot in this Tigers lineup, making him an intriguing asset moving forward. Baddoo has a good matchup against Morgan, who has given up 13 runs in only 11.1 innings this season.

Hitter Streamers for 6/28 - Deeper Leagues

Bobby Dalbec (1B, RHB, BOS) 15% Rostered

Matchup: vs. KC LHP Danny Duffy

Dalbec is always in play against a lefty because he's slashing .263/.288/.513 against them this season. He has a tough matchup against Duffy, but I like the fact that it's at Fenway and this is Duffy's second start since returning from injury. There's a chance that the Royals won't let Duffy go deep in this one, as he's been limited to 42 and 15 pitches in two outings this month. Fire up Dalbec for his power upside.

Brendan Rodgers (2B/SS, RHB, COL) 12% Rostered

Matchup: vs. PIT LHP Tyler Anderson

Rodgers is another Rockies hitter to fire him up in this mouth-watering matchup. The former top prospect has starting to swing a hot bat of late, going 10-for-31 (.323) with three runs, one homer, and four RBI in his last six games. He's also slashed .360/.448/.800 with three homers against lefties this season, which makes him even more intriguing against Anderson. Rodgers should be able to keep up this hot streak in this one.

Gregory Polanco (OF, LHB, PIT) 3% Rostered

Matchup: at COL LHP Kyle Freeland

Polanco has homered in consecutive games, so we need to fire him up at Coors Field, even in a lefty-lefty matchup against Freeland, who has been abysmal this season. The veteran southpaw has given up a ton of hard contact, posting a .392 xwOBA (2nd-percentile) and 6.66 xERA. The Pirates' bats have been hot lately, making Polanco an appealing piece of a stack that can include Adam FrazierKe'Bryan Hayes, and Bryan Reynolds.

Pitcher Streamers for 6/28 - Shallow Leagues

Wade Miley (LHP, CIN) - 69% Rostered

Matchup: vs. PHI

There's really not many viable streaming options on Monday's slate, but there's a chance that Miley could be available on your waiver wire given that he's 69% rostered in Yahoo leagues. Miley continues to get it done, pitching six or more innings in three of his last four starts. He's also given up two runs or less in six consecutive starts. The Phillies have put up a 26.6% strikeout rate against lefties this year (25th in MLB).

Pitcher Streamers for 6/28 - Deeper Leagues

Matt Manning (RHP, DET) 15% Rostered

Matchup: at CLE

Manning has prospect pedigree with an exploitable matchup against an Indians offense that has put up a .299 wOBA against righties this year (21st in MLB). Manning has turned in two quality starts since being called up to the big leagues, but the strikeouts haven't been there (four walks, four strikeouts in 10.2 innings). Still, I'm willing to take the risk here against a mediocre Cleveland lineup.
