Tyler Naquin Picks Up Four Hits Tuesday
Tyler Naquin had four hits and reached base safely in all five of his plate appearances in Tuesday's 10-7 win over the Minnesota Twins. Naquin's three-run home run, his 12th of the season, was the difference in the game. He finished the day going 4-for-4 with two runs scored, three RBI and a walk in his five plate appearances to raise his slash line for the year to .261/.330/.488. The home run was Naquin's first since June 1, so his power has dropped off a bit recently, and he entered the day hitting just .234 (11-for-47) with 13 strikeouts in 52 plate appearances. Hopefully, the 30-year-old's strong performance on Tuesday will keep him hot to close out the month. He's a much more attractive DFS play when he faces righties, as 11 of his 12 homers in 2021 have come against them.
