Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Carter Hart (knee) was ruled out for the season with an MCL sprain in his left knee on Thursday. The 22-year-old hasn't played since picking up a 2-1 shootout win over Pittsburgh on April 15. Hart struggled throughout the campaign and finished it with a 9-11-5 record. He gave up 3.67 goals per game with a .877 save percentage and one shutout. Alex Lyon, who is 0-2-0 for the year, starts on Thursday against New Jersey and should see plenty of action now for the rest of the way, with Philly needing a miracle to get into the playoffs. Kevin Hayes also won't play on Thursday with head coach Alain Vigneault saying that the forward isn't feeling 100 percent at the moment.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
