William Byron had an interesting afternoon and evening as the Hendrick Motorsports driver scrambled his way to a fourth-place finish. The No. 24 driver held off Kyle Larson but could not catch Denny Hamlin for third. He managed to lead nine laps. Byron was sixth after stage one and seventh after stage two before surging into the top-five during the 42-lap long run at the end of the race.
