DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Lineup Picks for 4/1/21 - Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Mike Marteny offers his DraftKings daily fantasy EuroLeague basketball plays and sleepers for 4/1/21. His EuroLeague DFS lineup picks and sleepers will help you win on DraftKings.

There are only two rounds left in the EuroLeague regular season. Five of the eight teams have punched a ticket to the playoffs. Those teams with 20 wins are still jockeying for position. We have six teams fighting for three spots with Kaunas just barely hanging onto playoff hopes right now. A win over Munich today, who currently sit in the sixth slot, would do a lot for Kaunas. The only game that features non-contenders is Tel Aviv and Belgrade. They may be looser with their rotations than normal.

Nemanja Nedovic has joined Athens, but if he does play, I doubt it will be much. Tel Aviv might get Othello Hunter back, but they likely wont use him in his normal capacity if he does play. Those situations look messy. It was another solid return in the EuroLeague yesterday. Shved and Mickey hit, but my value plays weren't all good. I needed Yabusele with my Khimki mini-stack. It has been a successful few days though ,and that's what matters. Let's keep it going!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy EuroLeague lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/1/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard, forward, and center, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Guards

Jordan Loyd, Belgrade ($10,800)

Red Star is out of the EuroLeague playoffs, but they are in the playoffs for their domestic league. They likely wont mess with rotations too much. Loyd put up 37.25 DraftKings points in 32 minutes in the first meeting with Tel Aviv. The bad news is that Loyd hasn't played more than 30 minutes since Round 15. He is always between 25 and 29 minutes, which makes him a solid floor type of player. However, he doesn't have the upside that he did before he missed seven rounds with a injury. I still feel like Loyd is the only guard I would spend up for. Efes scores a ton of points, but Vasa Micic and Shane Larkin are only playing about 25 minutes a game over the last few weeks.

Thomas Walkup, Kaunas ($8,500)

Walkup was cold for much of February, but he has four straight games over 20 DraftKings points to finish off March. In a must-win game for Kaunas, I could see Walkup putting up big numbers......or he could ruin your lineup. He is capable of doing either one. Given his recent strong play though, I'm leaning towards the former. He's a strong option in the middle tier of guards that is light on consistency today. I want a guy on a team with something to play for.

Chris Jones, Tel Aviv ($7,200)

Part of the reason that Scottie Wilbekin's scoring was taking a hit is Jones. However, Jones has proven to be much more than just a scorer. He has taken over the role held by Yovel Zoosman before he got hurt again. Jones still only plays a little over half the game, but he has 53.75 DraftKings points over the last two rounds. He has clearly become a larger part of this team. He is still way too cheap for the numbers he has put up over the last month or so. Right now, Jones is more consistent than most of the middle tier that is priced above him.

Also consider: Pierria Henry, Vitoria-Gasteiz ($9,400); Kevin Punter, Milan ($8,800); Branko Lazic, Belgrade ($4,400)

DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Forwards

Achille Polonara, Vitoria-Gasteiz ($11,400)

Polonara has really ramped up hi production with the few extra minutes that he has been getting with the absence of Tonye Jekiri. Since Jekiri went down in a domestic league game two weeks ago, Polonara has 95 DraftKings points in just two games. That's a level that no one else on this slate can match. Now the bad news: Efes has allowed the second-least points in the league to forwards this season. They held Polonara to 22.5 DraftKings points in the first meeting. The silver lining is that Polonara only played 28 minutes in that first meeting. He is carrying the team right now. Baskonia can't really afford to have him watching from the sidelines. There's risk in using him against a good defense, but Polonara has the best upside on the entire slate.

Konstantinos Mitoglu, Athens ($8,700)

Mitoglu put up some big numbers when the Athens frontcourt was completely gutted at the beginning of February. The Athens front is now fully healthy, but Mitoglu has kept his status as the most capable scorer of the bunch. The issue has been him getting consistent minutes. Mitoglu was more aggressive on Tuesday against Bakonia, taking more shots from the field that he had in his last two games combined. If he maintains that aggressiveness, this is a front that he can pile come points on. Mitoglu put up 27 DraftKings points in the first meeting with Milan in just 17 minutes! His average per game in March was 22 minutes. That bodes well for Mitoglu today.

Bryant Dunston, Efes ($6,900)

Dunston only plays about half the game anymore, but he is still efficient when he is in there. I view Dunston as a cheap way to get a piece of the offensive juggernaut that is this Efes team. With the team limiting starters' minutes in preparation for the playoffs, Dunston's minutes have been consistent over the last four rounds where they weren't before. That makes him a strong value punt here.

Also consider: Ante Zizic, Tel Aviv ($9,600); Shavon Shields, Milan ($9,000); Paul Zipser, Munich ($7,300); Zoran Dragic, Vitoria-Gasteiz ($5,800)
