Buescher showed the ability to drive Daytona after a few crashes early on in his experiences at the racetrack. Even when he qualifies outside the top-15, there was a noticeable change last season. Buescher was able to negotiate traffic, weather adversity, and thrive. The results were noticeable. He finished third in 2020 and the thought process was maybe it was a fluke.
