New York Islanders goaltender Semyon Varlamov stopped all 30 shots faced en route to his third shutout of the season in his team's 2-0 victory over the New York Rangers on Monday night. The 32-year-old's cleansheet was his second against the Rangers this season - with his first one coming in a 24-save performance back on January 14th. Monday was just the continuation of Varlamov's fantastic start to the 2020-2021 campaign, as he has now posted five wins, a 1.88 goals-against average and a .932 save percentage in eight starts. There were questions before the season about whether or not Varlamov would split starts with rookie netminder Ilya Sorokin and the 13-year NHL veteran has quickly put those to rest early on. He'll likely start again when his team faces off against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
