New York Rangers goaltender Alexandar Georgiev stopped all 23 shots he faced in Saturday's 5-0 victory against the Islanders. The 24-year-old got his first start of the season after Igor Shesterkin had a rough appearance in the season opening loss on Thursday. Left wing Artemi Panarin and right wing Pavel Buchnevich each scored two goals in the contest, while second-year right wing Kaapo Kakko scored a goal of his own. Georgiev is in line to receive a handful of starts in the shortened 56-game season and his strong performance in Saturday's win is a good start for the fourth-year goaltender.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
